Hey fellow ProductHunters π»
I'm Dimitris Raptis, Co-Founder and designer of VisualEyes. With my team, we're thrilled to introduce you to our next-generation design assistant!
:: Mission ::
Currently, the design teams are struggling to survive under the countless screen iterations. Thousand design decisions are in doubt or taken under a non-clear context. Traditional A/B testing is a credible way to choose between your variants but takes time and effort to conduct it. We live in the attention era, but our design processes are full of distraction!
That's why we created VisualEyes! π
The first A.I design assistant that can predict the attention in your designs. The algorithm is powered by Artificial Intelligence and neuroscience research on real eye tracking data from our platform and respective open datasets.

:: The Backstory ::
We are a team of 5 engineers, passionate about design, technology and user experience! The last two years, we have been striving to democratise eye-tracking experiments by building our remote eye tracking testing platform, Loceye. Our findings during the previous years taught us that designers nowadays are iterating faster than before, leaving them with little time for actual user testing. That's the reason we created VisualEyes!
Feel free to drop any questions or feedback in the comments. We're all really excited to be sharing with the community!
Happy testing π»
This looks great, very useful! I did notice one thing though - if you upload a vertically-long image, the resulting heatmap comes out at a very low resolution. To replicate, I used the "Full Screen Capture" Chrome Extension on a Google results page (with 100 results on a page), exported as PNG, and uploaded to VisualEyes. While the heatmapping worked, the image lost much of its detail. Probably not the most important thing to fix though, given that nobody would be looking at a page in its entire vertical length at once. Attention to content as you scroll is SUPER important to my use case, so I look forward to scroll maps!
@eduardo_moreno2 Hey there βοΈWould you mind joining our community here : https://spectrum.chat/visualeyes... and posting the image you tested! We would love to check the results and find any possible issue that will come up. Thank you for sharing your feedback π€
In-freaking-creadible. As a product, I would love for Visual Eyes to be able to keep a low price or free option for those of us who, like me, are still proving that design is a valuable tool for the product
@aqueleariel Thank you for your feedback π We are now discussing about our pricing policy. We want to let designers with minimum budget in their companies use VisualEyes and prove their points to their stakeholders. And we will also give extra love to our early users π
Last, but not least, here is a piece from McKinsey showcasing the value of design in business: https://www.mckinsey.com/busines...
@thanasis_papapostolou Sure. nice note! Also, our plugin can help individual designers test small UI tweaks πͺBtw, thank you very much for your comment!!!
