Congrats on the launch! Initial thoughts: - how about a magic link for login? - or, password manager integration - why not just pop the share sheet so I can share this to anyone, on any app? - wasn't able to select the zoom location on any of the 3 photos I used. - tried clicking the wand at the top and it crashed 😭 - from the video I'd remove expert options and just make it the highest trees non-blurry expert you can get and call it HD. 2-3 options most if anything tho. Less is more and you want this to be a no brainier app to use and send these quickly. Great start! Seems promising. Keep it up! πŸ‘

@itsbrex Hi Brian, Thanks for the all the thoughtful feedback and encouragement! Very helpful. Appreciate the time you invested to give it. We will give all of the feedback thoughtful consideration. For the selection of zoom location did you simply tap on the desired zoom location or use the choosing action of dragging the icon. We are set up for the tapping versus dragging the icon as the user choosing action. We could consider being set up for both user possible actions. Either the tap on location or drag to the location. We did find in observing users that the tap on location as the action was much faster than the drag to. Also, it is much more granular for getting desired zoom location as well. Best, James

Idea came about from the challenge to make storytelling video montages as fast as possible out of anything on your iPhone (and later other devices). And, at the same time, build an instant messaging platform integrated with this very fast video creation process to stimulate a new kind of collaboration. To achieve this had to create constraints; 1. choose 3 (either images turned into video or short pre-made video clips); 2. a very short time on vidThat video length (15 seconds); and 3. the ability to effortlessly reply in context as a video (inside the vidThat instant messenger) using the same assets that sender sent (this required the creation a new video file process for app-to-app communication). Very grateful to the two great teams (initial development and then production) who contributed in building this product. Would welcome any ideas on communities that can use vidThat. Currently only available on the iPhone. Love to get feedback of the on all aspects of the product which also includes instant voice to text transcription, voice alteration and video thumbnail creation. Also try it out as a messenger but you will need to get someone from your iPhone address book to also get the vidThat app from the App Store so that they are a contact inside the vidThat Instant Video Messenger.

Video is made in just a few clicks out of anything on your iPhone and along with this the video maker's voice is automatically transcribed on to the video.
