Our team has been in the online video space for over 6 years now (along with whole careers in freelance and studio filmmaking) and we're best known for high quality music visualizers and intro animations. This time around we built a large set of new features to help musicians make lyric videos.
Lyric videos are common these days and it's not rare for them to be more popular than a filmed music video. This makes lyric videos an amazing tool to promote new music: listeners can immediately engage with the content of the song and the search algos just love when captions and lyrics are included.
The problem is that it still takes a lot of hours of dedicated work to make a lyric video that doesn't look like it came from Windows Movie Maker.
We've been waiting for the perfect moment to develop and publish a product to help musicians, publishers and promoters create their videos faster while producing a very appealing video. Our solution lets you create a beautiful lyric video just by customizing an animation template and timing the lyrics to the song. You can use an SRT file if you have one, or just time the lyrics from scratch in a very simple editor designed to let you sync your words while listening.
This is a brand new category with distinct templates which you can export to any of the popular formats: wide (16:9), vertical (9:16), post (4:5), square (1:1). Each template comes with its own granular customization options to let you take it well beyond the baseline. If you'd like to just get it done, fire up one of the predesigned themes and have a lyric video you're proud of in less than half an hour. 🎬🥳
In addition to your video, the timed SRT file is also created and you can reuse that on YouTube, Spotify, Deezer, and anywhere else you need a lyric file. At the moment the lyric editor is only available on PCs, although video editing works on all devices.
