User Inyerface is a challenging exploration of user interactions and design patterns.

This is a comically terrible example of poor UX to the extreme. I churned after the second screen. 😂😭

@rrhoover - I got the urge to beat the system, wanted to get through as fast as possible. Managed to complete the thing in 4:15 - not to bad, some well designed onboardings take longer....

I've never seen something this awesome to make you feel like there's worse than you about design! I feel way happier now :D

Pros:

None.

Cons:

- Awesome to make you feel nervous - So great to make you feel like being a really talented designer

Daniel Contreras

10/10, Would spend 6 more minutes wanting to kill myself with the UX

Pros:

That was absolutely painful, as promissed.

Cons:

Stress

@Bernardamus
On mobile it’s pure HELL! I love the prompt “are you sure to cancel? YES/CANCEL” ... also the chat window disappearing super slow 😂

Nathan Guo

love it a lot please add the whole website and continue this awesome bad UI

Pros:

best showcase for convincing people take more attention on UX

Cons:

please add a skip button.

Ihor Levenets 🇺🇦

That was tough 😅

Pros:

In the end they told me that I am awesome!

Cons:

I think you should add the 3rd validation level, not sure if everything's secure

Rob Moore
If I can add one suggestion, the user input should clear each time the user tries to submit invalid information (like a password that doesn't meet the criteria). Looking at you airline companies 😉
Hao Jiang

No more

Pros:

The maker really knows what he/she is doing. Disgusting examples. Successfully ticked me off.

Cons:

None

Oleksii Nadtochiy

I seem to have lost a lot of nerves

Pros:

The ending is nice, I had fun and it was painful

Cons:

Don't try this on mobile, REALLY DONT DO THIS

Yan Ketelers

I found a fix to this website. add a body { display: none }

This is amazing! As a suggestion for the 3rd level, after it tells you that you filled something wrong (like age not matching birth date), the whole form should reset (or something more terrible) when you click OK to go fix it!

This is a great idea. I wish it was a bit worse. (Male and Female, could be their Symbols). I can see this going much worse than that. Nevertheless, I loved hating it.

And that you call annoying!? I passed with ease though I cared to explore so it took 7 minutes. Here's how it should be: - Cookies top bar should appear only when you click on the page, not when you hover. Furthermore, page should be shifted the way you trigger another annoying control element, preferably ads (fake one). - Clicking anywhere on cookies top bar should open for you dialog box with "cookie policy", similar one to terms & conditions which you cannot just close. - When you click on the lock button in time popup unlock should appear in a different place. - Why drop-downs are not closed when this time popup appears? - There should be more clickable elements on the page navigating you here & there and resetting you forms. - Chatbox should be taking at least 1/3 of the page (better half), it should appear some time after page loads, preferably when you hover over the area it appears or even better when you click somewhere there. It must cover content, preferably with semi-transparent elements. - Chatbox as well as cookie policy should repeatedly appear in a similar pattern on each new stage. - Clicking on chatbox should be brining another popup asking you to enter lots of stuff (e.g. email, phone, name, etc.) and once you do so it should say they're really busy to answer or might call you next century - Chatbox should produce distracting messages and noises - Password rules visible initially and all at once!? And that simple!? You gotta be kidding, they should appear one by one only when you submit the form, only one by one (ideally random one if multiple are violated) and they should be much more complex, e.g. 16 letters, at least 23% of special characters but many characters are not allowed etc, no more than half of alphabetic characters and many more! It's for your own security :P - Once you failed to submit the any form for any reason it must be reset, absolutely! - Once you passed initial page password should be asked for again. If you fail - submit previous form one more time. - No text should be allowed to copy from the page and paste there. You have to enter you password and email yourself! No, you can't copy non-readable green text from blue background, read it this way - You should be asked to enter email twice (confirm your email) - The site is extremely fast. It should be loading much more time. - Downloading picture before it is loaded should bring you huge box with 500 - Technical Exception - the image has not been found, please try again - Allow loading images only in bitmap format (well or any suitable but no PNG, JPG or GIF, they're too way common) - Only two genders!? I gonna be offended, please include all 63 gender identities and make male & female somewhere buried in drop-down so that no one could think they're given preference! - No requirement to make name and surname from capital latter, numbers and special characters are allowed there, should be fixed - There really should be a phone number field (with annoying mask like of email) and if phone code doesn't match country code you're given an error and to fill this form again! - There was no single element with horizontal scrolling, I'm literally offended, how this called be a design without it?
