Our team of ex-Googlers helped over 4 million people learn how to use Google Apps through interactive micro learning. We have applied our experience into building UpSavvy: an interactive learning tool that helps K-12 school districts teach students about digital citizenship, which is all about using technology effectively, responsibly and safely. Why is digital citizenship important to teach? Some stats from the USA: - 93% of young people aged 8-18 owned a smartphone in 2021 - 37% of young people between the ages of 12 and 17 have been cyberbullied - Teens who spend 5 or more hours online a day are 71% more likely than those who spend only 1 hour a day to have at least one suicide risk factor - 89% of sexual advances directed at young people occur through instant messaging & chatroom - 80% of middle schoolers believed that an advertisement labeled as sponsored content was actually a news story - 60% of educational organizations experienced phishing attacks in 2020 - Ransomware attacks on US schools and colleges cost $3.5 billion in 2021 Through research and discussions with K-12 school districts, we learned that digital citizenship is a priority, but districts lack the tools to deliver up-to-date content at scale and measure results. Teachers also have very limited amounts of time to effectively incorporate digital citizenship lessons into their curriculum. We also learned that students are becoming accustomed to learning through short form video content. Why UpSavvy works: - Takes students less than 5 minutes a month to learn digital citizenship. - Interactive content with over 200 bite size videos, quizzes & simulations. - Empowers teachers with resources while minimizing their time investment. - Enhances the classroom experience without sacrificing learning time. - Integrates directly with school district rostering & LMS systems including Clever, Classlink, Google & Microsoft - Curriculum covers topics: Privacy & Security, Digital Well-Being, Cyberbullying, Digital Footprint, Media Literacy, Technology Essentials, Online Relationships & Safety, Digital Commerce, Digital Finance As parents and technology experts, our mission is to help K-12 students make better decisions online. Try some free lessons by signing up on our website, we appreciate your feedback.

@katie_kuzin_kensho thanks for your support! Our distribution plan is getting UpSavvy into K-12 schools at the district level, where pricing is $1 per student per year, larger districts with over 20k students can contact us for pricing.
