This is a cool idea... Im sure we are all guilty of adding things to Pocket and they end up getting buried. Although Im guilty of ignoring emails with articles to read unless I'm caught in the moment of 'ready to read stuff'. Maybe I need some hitman to turn up at my house once a week and remind me. This is a functionality I want to add to my bot as you can add things to Pocket that way but always good to have that nudge to make sure you read/listen to what you saved. So I like this :) PocketRocket is similar - sends you a daily email of an article in your Pocket You can also be reminded daily of a previously upvoted product on PH
Stefan Wirth
@bentossell would you interested in my new hitman as a service platform?
Dennis Passway
@nafetswirth @bentossell We'll add the hitman to the feature list. Could get pricey tho' 😸

Thanks so much @dennispassway and @mishaheesakkers for making this product ! 👏 I definitely needed it because I have literally thousands of articles in my Pocket 😅

@mrcalexandre Here, here ;)

This is much better than PocketRocket. Thank you! One question: Do you delete the pocket entry when you send the email or when the user reads it?
MishaHeesakkers
@thekitze We don't delete your pocket items but you have the choice of archiving them in your mail ;)

Thanks for the hunt @im_diogodantas! What @bentossell is saying is exactly why Unhoard was born. We both added lots of things to our Pocket and ended up with endless lists of things to read- or watch that were only growing. Inspired by e-mail newsletters we thought it would be cool to receive your own things on a weekly / daily basis. We build the prototype in a few hours for ourselves. Later we gained some users and added more features. What makes it really worth a try is the recent feature that enables you to directly archive things from the e-mails. We would love it if you gave it a try and let us know any feature requests or feedback! Thanks!

Dennis Passway
@kleaklass Yes, you can pick the day you want to receive your Unhoard after connecting your pocket!

My Pocket is where articles go to die. I signed up to Unhoard last week, and super glad I did! It's great to be reminded of things, but it's also gradually archiving things that are no longer relevant to me. Great idea, lovely delivery.
MishaHeesakkers
@sgoudie Great to hear! If you have any feedback so far, let us know ;)

Love it! I always wanted something like this for Pocket, but also for Github stars or my bookmarks. It happens that I save a lot of things in bookmarks, github stars or pocket, but for time to time I forget them. Something like this helps me to rediscover those things that for some reason I saved. Thanks a lot!
Dennis Passway
@inakiabt Good to hear! Bookmarks are unreachable, but we'll look into the github stars thing ;) Thanks for lettings us know!

Needed this so badly! My Pocket has gotten so large that it stresses me out to open it. So excited to use this!
MishaHeesakkers
@brad_wolff Nice! Enjoy our service and if you have feedback let us know!

Love it. If you're looking for a new feature, I got so overwhelmed by my Pocket backlog I built a python script that scores domains (based on what I've favorited) and preferentially pushes me stuff from the backlog I'm more likely to be interested in.

Awesome idea! Pocket has become a graveyard of great in-depth articles I should be reading, but simply forget. Unhoard can make sure I get those articles back into my reading system.
Juan Buis
oh man I have so many unreads in my pocket, thanks for this
Dennis Passway
@juanbuis Time to empty that pocket! :)

Interesting how many of us have this same problem. I was thinking of a way to do this for myself a few days ago, but now it exists :)
Min Park
Finally a way to reread my old Pocket articles! Just joined the service :)
