Share your go-to celebration technique for a job well done! From a team dinner to a solo dance party, let's hear how you mark a successful project or goal.
I might be a workaholic in this matter, but I get so much drive and motivation that I usually celebrate with more work 😁
Getting a nice treat for myself, or spending a couple of additional hours on online-shopping is also nice!
I celebrate most things by having a drink and a dance party. Fortunately, there are numerous ways to recognize your colleagues at work. It goes without saying that you should celebrate a job well done, but you should also appreciate a situation handled successfully, not simply specific duties. Even if there were no obvious results, you could still praise someone for trying something bravely. For example, at Google's company X, staff members are renowned for receiving praise whenever they "break" (i.e., make) a project fail. This encourages their culture of innovation and risk-taking experimentation. And even if you don't embrace this particular strategy for dealing with failure, it still demonstrates how X uses celebration to reaffirm their corporate principles.
