What one thing do you wish you knew before you launched?

Hi, I am planning the launch of my first app in a few weeks - it's quite daunting! I'm sort of trying to prioritise what I need to do as a solo founder, but am also aware that I may have many blind spots, especially related to marketing and social media. Any advice is much appreciated :)

Do you need any practical help maybe? I know the pain and struggles of launching an application, apart from the great excitement it brings. It's hard to say one thing you should focus on or remember, but maybe my suggestion would be - be mentally prepared to work 100x harder after the launch as that's when you can not hide or quit; the users will demand a lot of your attention. And if your app is community-based, be ready to sustain good performance and get high rankings in the app stores.

@anastasiiahere Thanks, Anastasiia. That's really good advice. I think sometimes it feels like launching is the goal, when actually that is when things start.

@lukehale exactly! In fact, launching a product is a milestone to achieve and move on from. To me, so far the hardest thing was to sustain traffic and product performance and enlarge it with limited resources (also trying to stay sane on this startup journey). So, I'd say it's good to spend time creating a more long-term plan and assess the resources you have.
