I tried to pick a few that help me with work (e.g. summarising something, fixing or improving the process).
Here are my must-haves:
Buyerstage – bookmarking LinkedIn posts
ColorZilla – to pick colours from websites (a must for graphics work)
Grammarly – grammar checking and grammar correction
Save Tweets Forever – bookmarking Twitter posts
SimilarWeb – for a quick overview of website stats
SurfPal – a time tracker to keep screen time in check
TidyRead – AI summarising texts from websites
Tweet Hunter – analysing Twitter posts and profiles
Of course, I have more, but these are essential to me.
Do you have favourite Chrome extensions that you couldn’t live without?
@hussein_r Yes I do because one crucial thing – creating tags for certain saved posts. When I save too many, it is a mess but with tags I can filter e.g. hacks, motivational, or cringe :D
@hussein_r When I feel bad, I circle back to MEMEs, when I seek inspiration, I have folder for that too :D
@busmark_w_nika Sounds like a solid system! 😆 A well-timed meme can fix almost anything.
Dark Reader is really the only one. Before that Bitwarden but then I switched to Password.app, I guess that's another must-have for me.
I noticed you are using two separate bookmarking tools for LinkedIn and Twitter, guess what, I created this mac app that works with both sites, actually any sites, including this page, it will automatically capture description and title and Tweet content for search and you can manually add tags and notes to it. It's called DoubleMemory (not launched here yet but already live on App Store), if you are on Mac feel free to check it out.
@randomor It seems that Dark Reader is a favourite one. TBH, I tried it as well but probably I hate my eyesight so much that I go with light mode all the time. 😅 But I do a lot of graphic design work and need to have a light space to focus on pixels. 🙂
@busmark_w_nika in ten days 😱... just setup a upcoming page now it finally shows up on my profile...
@busmark_w_nika that makes sense. here is hope technology will eventually advance to such a degree that light mode will be as nature as paper and with all the colors a designer need. Will PH get dark mode before then? Not sure... :D
@randomor TBH, more people asked for dark mode but probably it is not a priority rn at the moment. And it is either way only a "cosmetic" change that wouldn't dramatically change the website visits and flow of sponsors :)
BTW, I think that @SurfPal by @wildseeder and @Tidyread by @trevon_gleeson I found directly here on Product Hunt. :)
@sentry_co Didn't know about YouTubeNonStop (but maybe because I use for that panel in mac on the top bar where it can be partially managed). I would wish to have that one extension that would know that I procrastinate on some website, so it would kick me out. 😄
If you like Save Tweets Forever, you can also check out Collabwriting @busmark_w_nika 😄
With our extension you can save Twitter posts too, bust also LinkedIn posts, snapshosts from YouTube or Reddits threds, snippets from pdfs and webpages and we're always working on adding more sources of data.
@sandra_idjoski This is new to me :) Thank you for sharing :)
Would love to hear your thoughts if you ever decide to check it out @busmark_w_nika 😊
@busmark_w_nika These are such great and useful extensions! I hadn’t heard of a couple of them before, but I just tried them out and they’re fantastic. For me, one I find really helpful is Wappalyzer.
It’s great for identifying the tech stack and tools used in website construction, super useful for research and understanding what’s behind a site!
Thanks for sharing these! I’ll definitely be adding a few of them to my toolkit.
@natalia_eiriz Natalia, TY for sharing :) I heard about it for the first time rn :)

I actually don’t use any Chrome extensions right now and manage just fine, but I can see how some of these could be super useful—especially TidyRead for AI summarization and SimilarWeb for quick website insights.
I an curious—do you find Buyerstage more effective than just saving LinkedIn posts directly? I’ve always wondered if these bookmarking tools really add extra value beyond built-in features.
