I think it's an insane situation. Hopefully the employees who were fired are able to find new jobs quickly.

Employers should definitely take mental health concerns seriously, but firing employees for being stressed doesn’t seem like the right approach. Instead of terminating people, companies could offer more support, like counseling, flexible work hours.
