Typed is a document editor and collaboration tool that revolutionizes knowledge management to act as your team’s second brain through some really smart features and AI 🤖 Currently, we waste two hours every day looking for the information we need to get work done. At Typed, we’ve redesigned the way our users collaborate by connecting their documents and adding significantly more power to them. ⁉️ Why Typed? Here are some of Typed’s key features that help teams work smarter: 🤝 Google Integration Typed integrates directly with your Google Drive. You can import all the documents that are in your Google account, and the work you do in Typed is automatically added to your Drive in a Shared Folder. Typed’s Document Editor will also be familiar to Google users, as it uses the same Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides interface, but with a number of new features that add a lot more functionality to your documents. The idea is that rather than replacing the document editing tools that you and your team are familiar with, Typed syncs up with them and adds to their power and organization. 📖 The Resource Library Every document in Typed comes with its own Resource Library. Here you can add other documents, files, and resources from the internet, your local device, and your past work. The more you use Typed, the more it understands your work, and begins to recommend relevant resources to speed up your creation process while you work. 🧠 Knowledge Network In Typed, documents and the resources you use to create them are organized contextually rather than hierarchically (Folder > Sub Folder > Sub Folder > File). We do a number of cool things with this, but one of our users’ favorite features is the ability to see a visual mindmap of how all the documents in a project relate to each other using our Knowledge Network. Along with offering valuable insights on the relationship between the work you and your team are doing, this makes it much easier to find files quickly by browsing visually. Once you’ve added your work to Typed, you’ll never lose it! 🔎 Split Screen Viewer In Typed, you can edit and view two documents simultaneously. This massively improves productivity, and allows our users to escape the inefficient practice of having 400+ tabs open on their computer while they work on a document. When a user clicks on a resource in a Typed document’s Resource Library, it loads instantly, allowing them to grab the information they need without ever breaking flow. 📱 Mobile App We are so excited to have launched a new Mobile App in time for our Product Hunt launch! By far, Typed is literally no brainer! You don't need to use your brain capacity but just to use Typed for any document associated collabrations at global scale

This looks amazing! I can totally relate to the situation where a lot of time is wasted looking for different documents. I'm sure this will help solve that problem while streamlining the workflow. Great job! Congratulations on the launch!🚀

While I get the philosophy here, I wish you’d gone for a robust proprietary markdown friendly editor that then *speaks to gdocs and others* - versus *sitting atop gdocs.* Maybe it’s just me - I just find the Google Docs ecosystem to have not kept up with the times in terms of smoothness and usability. I realize I’m probably in the minority however and that this will be a deeply useful product for lots of people… in that sense, then: great job and congrats! :)

Hey, @bri_shin great product going on here. I love the website, especially the "before" and "after" Typed section. It really drives the problem you and the team are solving. I think your billing is quite reasonable too. You might want to consider when a user is "getting started" (using the google sign-in option), showing the user that they're being signed in - there's a 5-second delay before moving to the dashboard screen. Can't wait to take Typed for a ride :)

Hello everyone! It's great to be back since our beta last year! Today we are launching our official Typed 1.0 on ProductHunt and our team is extremely excited to share our product with all you guys in this amazing community. The biggest upgrade? We finally built a product for teams to use collaboratively, increasing the efficiency of not only individual users, but entire teams. Today, we are continuously building a product that will revolutionize collective knowledge management. In addition, we have added a mobile app that will allow you to view your docs wherever you are. Now, manage you and your team's docs on the move! Maker's favorite feature? Typed is full of fun and productive features, but my personal favorite is the "Review" feature. Good to see Typed here. I have liked this since the beta. I like the approach to Personal Knowledge Management and the ability to create team projects. Hoping to test the mobile app. Congrats and good luck.

Such a nice tool. Upvoted. Wish you the best of luck. Can't want when you implement more native integration so we can work better haha...Don't forget to add a calendar and an email so we will be able to create a note from email and pass it over to calendar as a task :)

Initially i was not sure how to use it. But then i saw few webinar by them and also thier videos on YouTube and reluctantly started using the tool. But i must say, my reluctance soon changed to necessity and now i am using it daily. It's refreshingly easy and effective tool. Well done team typed. Best wishes to you guys. Rise and shine 🌟

Awesome tool. Been using Typed for a couple of weeks. Talked to Brian Shin this morning, and I was blown away! I haven't been using Typed to the fullest! I was very impressed with updates they roll out very frequently that Typed gets better and better everyday. I've been using it since the beta, and now it's hard to imagine writing a document without Typed. This tiny tool changed the whole process of writing documents!
