👋 Hey Product Hunt! 🚀 I have always liked Facebook Memories and wanted the same feature on Twitter so I decided to develop this simple web app as a Twitter extension. Here's what it can do for you: 1️⃣ Check and retrieve tweets you posted on the same day from months or years ago—your memories on Twitter. 2️⃣ Gives you an update when you have a memory #OnThisDay. ✌ Please let me know what you think.

@youngestbllnr Have privacy/admin changes been considered? The ability to engage with others, follow/unfollow others, tweet on your behalf “for you” seems like way too many permissions - I’d like to choose how to use the memory, and certainly wouldn’t want an app following or unfollowing, or engaging with others for me, but I love the concept of easily finding Twitter memories.

@jennifer_vande_zande Unfortunately, all of these permissions are default with the Twitter API. Personally, I find the other permissions unnecessary. I only use the read permission to retrieve the Twitter Memories. The write permission (which I made optional) is only used by the bot I made which automatically shares/tweets one memory per day so that you won't have to manually check everyday (can be turned off).
