Tweet Sweeper automatically deletes your old tweets so that you can show off the current you. Pick how long you want your tweets to stick around for, and let Tweet Sweeper delete the rest.
@filip_polynskiy personally, I like the idea of deleting everything by default. Itโs just good privacy.
With that said, Iโm toying with an idea that will let you keep all your tweets containing a word or word combination.
That way if thereโs a subject youโd like to always be on the record with, you donโt have to repeatedly come back to save the tweets.
Hello hunters!
My name is Pete, and I find it weird that every tweet sticks around forever by default.
I love Twitter. It's the Internet's Town Square, where people gather to discuss current events and cutting-edge topics.
But Twitter is built for real-time communication. And after 24 hours, the conversation changes. Once it does, your old tweets are irrelevant and more likely to be misunderstood than appreciated.
On Twitter, I want feedback on my current thoughts and opinions, not my old ones. So I built Tweet Sweeper! Tweet Sweeper automatically runs in the background, deleting my old tweets from over a year ago.
Now my Twitter timeline reflects a more up-to-date version of me.
Simple as that.
I added a few other features to Tweet Sweeper to help you manage your timeline:
- Pick how long you want to keep your tweets
- Select any tweet to "keep" it from being deleted
- Get a weekly "last chance" email that shows you which tweets will be deleted this week.
- Deep text search to find all your tweets about a particular topic
- Upload your Twitter archive to delete your ancient tweets that only come up in a search
Sign in for free, set things up, poke around, and see if it's right for you! When you're ready to start automatically deleting your old tweets, Tweet Sweeper costs just $29/year to use.
If you don't subscribe within 7 days, all your account data will be removed from Tweet Sweeper as if you were never there ๐
Drop a reply if you have any questions or feedback! Hope this helps you as much as it's helped me!
Cheers,
Pete
