Where do the temperature figures correspond to? I find it difficult to believe that, say Patagonia and Buenos Aires are both 11,7 Centigrade, for example.

@hasan_diwan Great question! You are 100% right. The temperatures for larger countries with varying climate are not as accurate as opposed to smaller countries where the climate is more uniform.
We decided to get the weather for either the largest or capital city of each country for V1. The eventual goal is add specific places with in a country so you can see their climate as well as attractions.
@peter_kovach1 ... and if these are different places, as in Brazil? Which do you default to? Can this be noted somewhere in the UI?
@hasan_diwan Great point, we should make a reference let's people know where the main climate data is coming from (i.e. which city/region)
And for the specific places in the country we were planning to have separate pages where all that data would be visible.
?makers I love it, just a tiny problem, I was fiddling around with it and the budget menu doesn't work, it seems as if the list goes beyond the browser boundaries and I can't select anything, but I'm loving it so far
@dantnad Hey! You should simply be able to scroll down once you open the budget menu. That said, it should probably be a better experience than that.

@tom4 Just seeing this and that's some great feedback. Some of those are minor bugs that I just haven't gotten around to fixing but I really like the idea of the filters reflecting the color of the visa type itself and also to make the titles more prominent.
Regarding horizontal vs vertical, I've been getting mixed reviews from people. If you notice, there's a 'view all' button on the right which allows you to vertically browse a particular visa type.

In late 2018, I went fully remote and wanted to travel the world. Soon enough, I realized it was easier said than done, especially if you have an Indian passport. So I started building TryIndigo to solve my own problem - find accurate visa, weather, and budget information for countries I want to travel to. I planned to add a lot more features and also to launch on Product Hunt but eventually, the traveling and life itself caught up to me and I never got around to it.
Fast forward to last week, I was stuck in the US with my visa expiring in a week and no information on where I could go to because the borders in India were closed. I had to scrounge the internet to figure out what my options were especially because my passport is _weak_ so last weekend, I decided to add this feature to TryIndigo and make it point to launch it on Product Hunt just in case someone else is in the same situation or just wants to make travel plans once things start opening up again.
Pete and I have put a lot of time and effort into this project trying to make sure the information is accurate and updated and we'd love it if everyone would check it out and give us some feedback.

Wow! this is so cool. I was actually hoping to see something like this. The amount of tabs open on my browser to search for places to visit lol, Seemed like i was taking a 'multiple stop' flight to my destination! but this is like a one-stop-solution.
Really great for travel planning. I especially love the COVID-19 information that defaults on each destination - super helpful when weighing different options and what you can/can’t do there.
