@maxine_buchert We couldn't agree more on this! Cost has always been a critical "decision-enabler" in route planning. With the pandemic hitting us like crazy in the last few months, many businesses became cost-conscious. We want to help all these businesses save some money by traveling on their optimal routes.
We started from the US, Canada, and Mexico, however, we are now a global solution provider covering more than 55+ countries across North America, Latin America, Europe (Including Russian Federation), Asia, and Oceania regions (Australia and New Zealand).
TollGuru is such a great initiative and I'm sure it will lead travel apps in the future. Looking forward to it being available in Argentina! :) Also, congratulations to Katie, Nick and all of the team.

I am Katie, Co- Founder @ MapUp.
We have built TollGuru - accessible as an app, API, SDK - that allows you to compare travel time and travel cost to pick your optimal route. What’s so special in this? While maps such as Google maps and Apple maps show travel times they do not show tolls, fuel expenses and other route cost information.
Without the cost information, commuters, fleets, last-mile deliveries cannot account for tolls in their routing. Fleets such as car rentals wait for weeks to get the toll bill from the agencies. None of the care rentals are able to bill their customers for tolls at the time of customer checkout.

Tried the web toll calculator. Liked it. Its free but only charges for the calculations for trucks? Would this be also free???
Getting your API will be the first thing I will be doing. I run a fleet of trucks and am always worried about my business graph. With TollGuru, I guess I don't have to rely on too many places and can reap the benefits as well! I just wanted to know what all machine languages are supported for integration?

Tolls are so confusing across some major cities in the US like NY. TollGuru app would be a great help to know about them before hand and plan my trips accordingly. Great one! Noticed the app shows toll tags as well. Does it let you pay tolls as well?

The mobile app is really great. Supports almost all map applications. Gave routes within a few seconds. The UI is easy to understand. Outstanding!

I run a small delivery fleet that delivers goods using various vehicles. This product will really boost up the overall process of my fleet management. What I like about this is the list of supported languages. I only know Ruby and TollGuru supports it, even if the world says Ruby is of no use. Great job!

@angie_carlo thanks a lot! It is interesting to know that you are looking to integrate it using Ruby. I still remember how, in early product stage, we thought of making the product "all integrable". We wanted to ensure that any business on the road, irrespective of size, need, or tech capabilities, are able to integrate/adopt it and make cost intelligent trip decisions. Therefore, we allow the product with any language, any map, any vehicle etc..Glad to see that it is serving the purpose. The best part about TollGuru Toll Intelligence is the huge list of supported vehicles, and that too according to the country region. Currently I am using two different services for support on my vehicles, but with TollGuru, I only have to use one which is time saving and hassle-free!
