We decided to make this based on my own experience with trying to immerse myself with Spanish. First I set all my devices to be in Spanish, next I tried to use the internet only in Spanish. I even started listening to podcasts and reading books in Spanish.
And yet, there was something still missing. All of the content I already enjoyed was in English! Trying to immerse myself in Spanish meant finding new podcasts, new youtube channels, new blogs, and new books to read. So, we created this simple tool to translate audio clips to different languages.
I've found it useful for translating podcasts that I liked to Spanish, so hopefully this is helpful to more people out there too!
@reyesal_ Hey Alex, I am just like you man. I changed the languages of all my products for immersion purposes.
Any chance of using a web url instead of audio files for the translation ? I need to download my podcast and then upload etc, which makes the user journey tedious.
Really really love how simple/useful that landing page is. (And love the domain!)
It would be epic as a chrome extension or something that I could intigrate with Youtube, I've seen some AI tools that can get pasted Youtube links, and output the transcript, but not sure if that's possible. (Might also be expensive, haha.)
Congrats on your launch! :)
Congratulations on the launch of Translate My Audio! It's great to see how personal experiences can inspire such innovative solutions. As someone who values language immersion, this product definitely caught my attention.
I'm curious to know, what languages are currently supported for translation and dubbing on Translate My Audio?
