Create a website for your podcast, regardless of whether you host on Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Spreaker, Anchor, Soundcloud, etc. Just search for your show (or paste in your RSS feed), and we'll generate a website for you automatically.
Hey! It's been almost 4 years since @jonbuda and I launched Transistor.fm on Product Hunt.
Today, we're back with a free product for podcasters: a tool that builds you a website, based on your podcast's RSS feed.
This website builder will work regardless of where you host your podcast (Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Anchor, Soundcloud, etc).
You can add custom artwork, customize your colors, add additional pages and links, and even connect a custom domain!
Our goal for this launch is to have 100 sites using this new free website builder. If you know a podcaster who could use it, please pass this along! Thanks. π
@jabbawy Yes! As a Transistor customer you can go to the Website tab and use the new theme picker & customization options for your podcast website!
Congrats on getting to 40k downloads a month! Thatβs amazing! π€―
@jonbuda@mijustin woo! Congrats on the launch for this. I love how easy it is to have a running website for a hosted podcast on transistor already, so Iβm sure any thing like that just for building a site will be top notch as well. Thanks yβall!
Hey Justin! Love Transistor. Congrats on the launch of this feature - seems like a great idea. If you don't mind me asking, what's your ARR, 4 years in?
I've been podcasting for 15 years. Literally never seen a better podcast hosting company than Transistor.fm. Software works well, has no junk and helps you grow your audience.
Plus Justin and his people are really good at customer support.
This is a nice addition.
The customisation is so good! Own URL? Nice!
I'm curious to learn why you decided to go for a new URL vs. using Transistor's domain authority to rank a page, like transistor.fm/freepodcastwebsite?
Congrats with the launch @mijustin, I've been a client of Transistor.fm for years and followed you since I found your Maker book. Very happy to see everything you're doing in the podcast space. Will check out this podcast website maker and see how it fits into my podcasts.
I've hosted all my podcasts on Transistor over the years and recently Jon + Justin have really stepped up the podcast website game. Now there's a quick, simple and beautiful way to showcase your show π₯
Having a website as a podcaster has brought me many new listeners where they can go through a backlog of episodes or find the show on their player of choice. Custom pages from Transistor let's me add a home for sponsors and members too.
Good work π―
@helenryles I'm really impressed by how easy it was. Congrats on the awesome product!
Now, I have one issue. Since I'm based in Germany, I need to comply with GDPR. I've added a imprint page using the pages feature. This is handy! However, I can't just do the same for the privacy policy because I obviously don't know the details on you are hosting the page and processing the data and if you're GDPR compliant. I've also reached out to your support to handle this case.
Hi, community!
It is an excellent product for podcasters. We also launch a similar product where podcasters can get custom podcast covers for free "100 Custom Podcast Covers For Free"
Huge congrats @mijustin π₯³ This is such a great offering and seriously wish you guys the best for this!! I've been a very happy Transistor customer and so I can personally say that this product definitely rocks!
Transistor once again solving major blockers for people to be able to launch and operate their podcasts. Awesome feature that will prevent you from wasting 10 hours on a wordpress site that you don't need to
stoked!! as a listener podcast discovery is tough with existing podcast apps. Even just scanning the comments here with example webpages is a clever way to discover new shows π
