Hello Product Hunt, 🙏 Thanks for checking out my app. A few months ago, we went into a research phase for our startup. It required us to watch a lot of content in our industry - Interviews of pioneers, Podcasts, Conferences etc. It quickly became daunting to pay attention for hours! 💡 That's when it hit me, why not use latest AI to transcribe all the content so I can generate Summaries, Read through relevant bits, and ask questions on it using ChatGPT. I hacked together the first version in a couple of weekends and found it super helpful. Then a bunch of my colleagues requested access. They Loved It! 📈 Slowly it expanded onto a few friends and finally public! I have added features along the way to make it helpful. Some of the initial users started using it for meetings and small content creators for their own videos. I'm adding more features every week to make it the most helpful tool to get more out of any video or audio. 🚀🚀🚀 I'm super excited for my first ever Product Hunt Launch. @pkpio my wife and I love it! Good service and works with many links we sent it. Would be nice to also record from the microphone: you can use MediaRecorder in the browser and send the final to your server.

This is actually very helpful! Found a few apps that work with YouTube but they all use built in subtitles, which is not very good. This one works as expected. Nice that it comes with enough free credits to play with. All the best with your launch!

A simple idea with lot of use! I tried with a some sample audio from Google drive. It worked well. Will try with a long interview file later today. Nice one!

This looks awesome. If you manage to bring the cost down in the future, it'll be nuts. Also a high value use case: upload a bunch of client interview recordings -> extract insights and ask questions.

@pavzagor We are working to further lower our costs. Already way cheaper than any other transcription service when compared with our top plan - nearly the same cost as using Whisper API directly!

I used it on Lex fridman podcasts, it was super helpful! Instead of spending 3 hours, I got the key points in 5 mins. I think there is a lot of potential for the product with further improvements. Good luck on your launch :)

Congrats on the launch @pkpio ! I love the idea of being able to better digest and engage with content this way, saves a lot of time! Just curious, how sophisticated is the AI in terms of understanding different accents?

@vikroxx I experimented with different models over the last 3 months and landed on the best there is. My users have thrown all types of content at it: Hindi, English (different accents across India, UK, US etc), it worked over 99% accuracy in most cases. People also tried Korean etc and no problem. For a strange reason, some transcribed an entire Tamil movie with no issues. Let me know how you find it. Keen to improve it :)
