8 years of working online as a blogger and internet marketer, and still haven't mastered completely SEO. Maybe, I can give Traffic Think Tank a go and clarify my doubts. I have many questions I'd love a clean and professional answer.
Ian Howells
Hey @erikemanuelli - we've got an ever-growing library of guides, videos, etc here: https://trafficthinktank.com/mem... and are always happy to answer specific questions from members, be it in the public channels, or via DMs if there's sensitive client info, etc. If the content list looks like it would be helpful - we'd love to see you inside 👍
Ian Howells
Hey @jeff_rivas - A new video/guide/webinar/etc is typically added every Wednesday. Discussion happen all throughout the day, across channels. The SEO and Q&A channels are the most active on a day to day basis.
Brendan Hufford
@erikemanuelli @ianhowells @jeff_rivas I disagree that SEO changes a lot. That's something that people use to try to get you to read the latest blog post or buy the latest product. You don't have to worry about that in TTT. The best practices are laid out and quantified by the members and the nuances (the small things that change) are talked about openly. 😃

That's awesome! Finding high-quality SEO community on the internet is rare! Does your videos section contain only beginners SEO videos or there is also advanced SEO videos?
Matthew Howells-Barby
@yuval_halevi1 Hey Yuval, thanks for the comment. We have content that covers all kinds of levels of knowledge - from beginner level content (like, how to carry out keyword research) through to highly advanced content (like, how to do log file analysis for SEO). You can actually view a full list of all of our current content here: https://trafficthinktank.com/mem...
Yuval_Halevi
@matthewbarby Thank you for the fast answer! Great design in the member's section. Will dig more into the full content list now
Matthew Howells-Barby
@yuval_halevi1 we have the awesome https://twitter.com/gzmogeek to thank for that design 😄
Brendan Hufford
@yuval_halevi1 Definitely more advanced stuff. I've been doing client SEO for a few years and SEO for my own projects even longer and I get SO MUCH from the training in there.

Hey Product Hunt 👋Matt here from Traffic Think Tank. I’m one of the three co-founders, along with @nick_eubanks and @ianhowells, and we’re all really excited to share our latest project with you all. All three of us have spent a large chunk of our careers focused on search engine optimization (SEO). I’m the Director of Marketing over at HubSpot, Ian is the Director of Search at LendingTree, and Nick runs multiple major marketing agencies with some of the biggest brands in the world on their books. Now, learning SEO isn’t easy. There are tons of self-proclaimed “experts” and a whole host of confusing and contradictory content out there on what actually works to drive traffic from the search engines. Traffic Think Tank looks to solve this. We’ve built a private membership community and brought in some of the leading minds in the industry (that are actually able to demonstrate their expertise through results) to regularly produce educational content to members. In short, we’re giving you everything you need to learn about SEO, have your issues diagnosed and open up new career opportunities. Anyway, we’ll be sticking around all day to answer your questions and would love any suggestions that you have (criticisms openly welcomed and encouraged!). ✌️

When I first got involved in digital marketing I fell in at the deep end, and had no clue about what was important and where to focus my time. I spent 12-18 floundering around, making little progress, until I eventually discovered the SEO community. I slowly starting building up my network - which took lots of time and proactive effort.

Traffic Think Tank shortcuts all of this. When you don't know where to start, you can just ask any of the experienced marketers in there who have done it a million times. When you want to talk through specific problems with people going through exactly the same shit, you'll find that too. And you'll have a fantastic portal to grow and develop your own network, through the Slack community and offline events.

And if all you want to do is sit back quietly and learn, then the excellent, regular webinars and case studies will absolutely have you covered.

TTT is a fantastic community and I'm honoured to be a part of it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone in digital marketing, particularly those who want some support from more experienced heads, or those who want to skill-up and push themselves to the next level.

Pros:

- Super engaged community

- High quality, exclusive content

- Access to a wealth of experience

- Particularly strong SEO focus

Cons:

Could be clearer/easier to access evergreen content

Traffic Think Tank is o̶n̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶s̶t̶ the best SEO community out there. Being a paid SEO community a lot of you might have reservations to join but I think this barrier to entry weeds out a lot of the inactive and troll accounts that fill up the other communities. The regular Webinars, Live Q&As & Templates that are shared alone make up for the cost of joining. The cherry on top is the fact that the community is made of industry veterans who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with you, it's like having the SEO community as a mentor.
nick eubanks
Hey PH Community - I'm Nick from Traffic Think Tank looking forward to answering any questions (and getting any feedback) from everyone. Cheers!
Agnes Thompso
@nick_eubanks Hi Nick I'm learning online marketing for almost 8 months, and so far most of the platforms I tried were average, mostly focusing on getting more money out of their users (Like WA for example). What makes Traffic Think Tank unique in the niche?
nick eubanks
@agnes_thompso Hi Agnes - this is a great question that I’m happy to answer. For starters, there nothing else to buy. The monthly membership is the only cost a member will ever incur (unless you choose to come to our live event (I.e. trafficthinktank.com/live) which has a ticket cost of $50 for members. We have a strict no pitching/soliciting policy that is strictly enforced and the main reason is we want to maintain a safe space. Our goal is to create sustain an open atmosphere where members can feel comfortable to ask any questions they may have and get honest answers; not answers motivated by an up-sell or attempt to squeeze out more money.
Brendan Hufford
I've written multiple Twitter threads about why TTT is a great value and really something special in the SEO space. Here's one (for example: https://twitter.com/BrendanHuffo...
nick eubanks
@brendan_hufford Thanks so much for the support Brendan - it's also been a pleasure to have you in the community helping provide actionable feedback to other members.

Traffic think tank is by far the best digital marketing community out there at the moment. Since joining this community I’ve made lots of connections and got to know some key experts in this field.

Pros:

- Engaging community.

- Great for making connections.

- Ability to connect privately with experts in the field.

- Mastermind groups.

Cons:

- If you don't check it everyday it's easy to miss some of the posts.

- Wish there is a better way to find content (Slack's limitation)

nick eubanks
Thanks for the review Suganthan :) We have a solution in the works to do a better job at tracking against all the best threads and posts without taking away from the “conversational” effect of Slack. It’s funny that Slack is designed this way (to create fomo and drive continuous daily engagement) but it can also be a limiting factor. Big stuff coming in 2019!
Rebecca Fleenor
Love it 🔥 this just came through exactly when I was thinking and figuring out some new strategies for SEO. @matthewbarby Traffic Think Tank co-founders gonna be involved in the Slack community?
Ian Howells
Hey @rebecca_fleenor - we're all active in Slack on a daily basis, either in the public channels or answering DMs from members :)
nick eubanks
Hey @rebecca_fleenor as @ianhowells mentioned we're in Slack everyday but also host live (video-based) events each month and keep everyone in the community up-to-date on all the latest discussions via our thread directory (which you can check out here https://trafficthinktank.com/start) and a weekly "best of" round up email.

If you want practical SEO advice that you can implement today TTT is the SEO community to join! If you’re unsure about anything and need a second opinion or have a question you need answering the TTT community of experts is here to help. It’s definitely worth the price, don’t make the same mistake as me and wait too long to join.

Pros:

Very active, intelligent bunch of SEO's happy to help each other out!

Cons:

None that come to mind

Nadav Dakner
Loving this concept and venture. Anything by these SEO gurus is just gold for marketers.
Ben Jacobson
Congrats to @matthewbarby and team on the rollout. This community looks like it'll deliver a whole lot of value to anyone interested in boosting traffic to websites 🌶️
jenifa orin

The community is super helpful, you can ask there any question, and there's always someone to respond and help you out, about the Slack part, it's a bit annoying as a new user, but you get used to it pretty fast.

Pros:

You get 24/7 access to ask a community of 500+ supportive members your marketing questions.

Cons:

The community is run in Slack, so if you're not a fan of it, it may not be for you.

Brendan Hufford

I've written entire Twitter threads about why I think TTT is a great value and an exception product. Here's one: https://twitter.com/BrendanHuffo...

Pros:

Talk with SEO pros

Cons:

Expensive for beginners

Chery Schmidt
Traffic Think Tank!! The name alone has got my attention! And A Slack Group! What a game changer this is going to be, to be able to have direct access to experts like Nick Eubanks!! Wowsy Priceless!!
Matthew Howells-Barby
@chery_schmidt Yeah, if you're a fan of Slack in particular then TTT is the perfect place for you. To be honest, we get a lot of members that have never used Slack before and there's a few hours of a learning curve and then they usually hit the ground running. The rest of the community are always on hand to help, too.
Joy Healey
I think the idea of a community of traffic experts is an excellent idea as it provides accountability for the traffic advice on offer. Some advice I had when first starting out was questionable - but then I learned to question!
nick eubanks
@joy_healey I couldn't agree more Joy, and it was one of the main driving reasons behind creating the community; to assemble real world practitioners to share what's working _now_
Matt Kurleto

SEO guidelines changes very quickly. What worked one day not only stops to work the other day but can severely hurt your business if you continue the tactics that Google bans.

Pros:

Up-to-date SEO know-how delivered daily

Cons:

You don't check it every day you miss the good stuff

Chery Schmidt

To have our own Private SEO community to help us get our questions answered, Priceless..

Pros:

Private membership community!

Content from beginner level to highly advanced!

Direct access to experts like Nick Eubanks!!

Cons:

Perhaps the learning curve of this Slack Community??

Kim Bazak
Great way to advance as a marketer, thank you guys!
Matt Janaway
Superb concept. These founders have a huge amount of experience within the digital marketing world, so being able to get information directly from their vast knowledge could be vital for marketers. I highly recommend considering Traffic Think Tank to take your SEO to the next level.
Matthew Howells-Barby
@mjanaway Thanks, Matt. Really appreciate it!
