Tradervoice.io — Assess the impact of financial news topics on asset prices

First let me introduce the team: - Rolf Lange Ejerskov - CEO - Co-Founder - Benjamin Dybro Liengaard - CAO - Co-Founder - Jens Gram Pedersen - CTO - Hareesh Ramachandran - Lead Frontend Architect - Luke Nicholas Taylor - Senior Data Scientist - Kristoffer Seemann Bindesbøll - CFO - Co-Founder What is Tradervoice.io?: - A first mover financial analysis tool quantifying financial news articles. - Tradervoice allows our users to search for any topic of their interest and see in a line chart how popular/widespread the topic has been and is in the worldwide financial news. Sentiment of the topic can also be chosen to see. - A few search ideas/examples: - Investor fear - Crypto adoption - Interest rate - OpenAI CEO - The cool thing is that when selecting financial assets prices from the right upper search bar, our users can look for investment trends between the topic line and asset line. It is important to use the chart zoom and drag features to investigate the chart in detail. A good example to try is searching for "Banking crisis" and select BTCUSD (Bitcoin) and zoom in on March 2023. See how the price of Bitcoin takes off just after "Banking crisis" increases significantly in the worldwide financial news. This was when things happened with Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and First Republic Bank. So, next time "Banking crisis" takes of in the news, one might concider buying into Bitcoin instantly. - The Popularity over time y-scale goes from 0-1. The Sentiment over time y-scale goes from -1 to 1. - The read and green circles/clusters on the topic lines contains links to the articles from the financial news platforms which at the specific time they are located, are/is the most representative article in relation to the searched topic. Zoom in to open the cluster and you can hover the mouse on an article and click the link to be directed to the article. - Our users can add up to five topic lines in the chart. - The topics popularity and sentiment data points can be downloaded as CSV for further analysis. - We provide a widget which external platforms can use for free. We are constantly updating and improving Tradervoice, and over the next couple of months we will implement the following tools: Summaries: Our users will be able to use a slider to define a time period of which they will be given a short summary of what has happened on the topic they have searched. This will save our users enormous amounts of time not having to go to all the news sites out there reading page after page to try and define what is going on with the topics of their interest. Hypothesis: Based on our vast collection of news data, the hypothesis tool suggest one or several hypothesis of why the topic of a user search might be related to an asset. News stream: In our news stream our AI, experts and editors tie tickers to narratives to give investors insight into possible relations. Technical Analysis: SMA (Simple Moving Average) WMA (Weighted Moving Average) RSI (Relative Strength Index) MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) Bollinger Bands Volume (used in relation to specific indicators or chart patterns) And more Prediction: Our prediction tool bases its results on the topic search the user makes including the selected financial asset the user have chosen. The result tells what is expected to happen to the price of the selected asset over the next 24 hours. Our users will be presented with one of the two following when using the prediction feature: – Expected to increase the next 24 hours – Expected to decrease the next 24 hours The expectation is calculated by our advanced machine learning algorithm. The user will also receive a measure showing the algorithm’s historical performance on the searched topic and selected asset. The user has the option to include several topics in the calculations made by the algorithm, to try and finetune the results. We are funded twice by the Danish Innovation Fond, and three times by our seven Danish Angel Investors. Among those seven are former CEO of Precise Biometrics (fingerprint technology) Thomas Høgh Marschall, and founder and former owner of Spektral (sold to Apple) Henrik Paltoft.

Interesting concept! I have a question and some feedback: Question: What other sources of information are you planning to connect in the future? How are you handling the big data amount efficiently in the future? Feedback: I feel like the UI of the charts with the colored circles decreases the perceived quality of the product. I'd propose the following changes: 1) Color the line of the graph instead of the circles 2) Place the icons without circles, but rather colored in. These are just a few suggestions but generally speaking, I would recommend you to find a high-class UI quickly, because from a user perspective this is very important (even though it's very unimportant)
