Hi, I'm Mike, one of the founders of Trace. We built Trace for anyone who's had to make a purchase or manage a budget at a business. If that's you, you're likely familiar with budget requests, vendor reviews, contract policies, BvA meetings, and for those truly unfortunate, POs. No, your Finance team doesn't hate you, they're just dealing with old-school finance technology like planning systems, Excel, and ERPs. I know first-hand as a former VP of Finance at a 1,500+ employee business. Despite our best efforts, that company still made working with Finance incredibly complex – and that’s despite the fact that we invested major dollars for the finance technology already on the market. It simply wasn’t good enough. So, we decided to make something better. Along with my co-founders Martin Destagnol and Matt Gonzalez, we set out to shield people from complex financial systems and make working with Finance simple. Trace is the first Budget-to-Pay platform providing smart and collaborative financial operations and analytics. With Trace, teams can manage their budgets, make purchases, and track their performance. Trace is for early Procurement teams and advanced FP&A and Accounting teams ready to automate their work and delight their budget-owners and purchasers. Here are some of the things Trace provides you: • A purchase experience that guides buyers with a single flow – orchestrating teams and integrating systems for budget requests, security and contract reviews, and purchase orders. • Lightning-fast analytics that connects your ERP and budget data – so your analysts can navigate from summary level dashboards to granular purchase and contract information in an instant. • Advanced ERP integrations so you can manage AP automation, accruals, and more in a single place. • Onboard new vendors, track key contract terms, and automate spend management processes, audits, and analysis. Our team is relentless in our common pursuit to make Finance simple and we do this to improve the financial health of all businesses so their people can thrive. Our mission is now more important than ever. We make Finance simple with engineering excellence and beautiful design. These characteristics are in our DNA. A lot of companies talk a big game about user experience and design – our CTO, Martin Destagnol, and his team have the track-record, expertise, and product to back it up. We’re honored to say, – “Built for Finance, by Finance” – but it’s really, – “Built for Finance, by Finance & world-class R&D.” Beyond giving our customers the tools they need, we also want to share the insights and learnings they can use to drive success. To that end, we’ve created Finance Ace, a community hub for Finance teams – and made it available to anyone, customer or not. You’ll find free tools like our public company benchmark analysis, software management models, payroll forecasting models, and many more guides, templates, and benchmarks. Join here: www.tracehq.com/financeace/commu... We'd love to hear from you: • If you make purchases or manage a budget, share this with your Finance team. • If you're interested in learning more or seeing a demo, please reach out to sales@tracehq.com. • If you're interested in joining our team, please visit www.tracehq.com/about#careers.

Trace shared our vision for a spend management platform built to handle the complexities of a modern-day technology business – subscriptions, services, goods, etc. Trace enables collaboration across our business lines and encourages robust information sharing across our organization. We couldn't be happier with our experience thus far with the Trace Team and the solution itself.

As a corporate finance professional for the past 6 years, I can truly say that Trace has hit expense tracking out the park! There's finally a product/platform that speaks the FP&A teams' language. The visibility to expenses, whether it be at the 50,000 feet high level or down to the invoice details, the software makes tracking expenses easy but more importantly, it allows for forecasting exercises to be done 'at the push of a button'. While not a direct client, I've had the pleasure of working with the senior leadership team as they've optimized their platform. A huge congratulations to Mike, Matt, and the rest of team on a job well done!!
