Great idea and very eager to try it to learn more German – but I'm a bit concerned about the quality of the vocabulary: on your own product page, "gold" is translated as "Silber", that is not... encouraging 😅

This is an excellent low-commitment way to pickup and expand vocabulary in a new language if not grammar, and at one's own speed. Highly recommended and nicely executed. I can see a good future for the packs and building in ways to expand learning.
The usability could do with a little improvement as for me I want to know how to pronounce upon discovering each new word (and occasionally thereafter), but (on desktop) the mouse contortion to hit the play button each time don't quite take into account Fitt's law. Be better if it was nearer the target.
Nice clean and elegant design. Although designers rarely consider brand in the context of usage — should be at the bottom of the bubble otherwise my eye has to track over it every time I check a word, thus breaking the learning absorption flow. Maybe a two element UI above and below the original context would work…
The advertising model is really cool, at least if advertisers understand this, as the user is in learning mode so readily open to influence. ;)

Hey really great idea here. Curious tho how many users will really grasp a language as a whole, verb states, sentence structure, or if this is really a way to dip your toes in the water so to speak, and learn a few things before tackling it properly.

Great idea, started using it immediately. I have an issue making the extension work though. It takes minutes for the extension to kick in. How can I force it to "tag" words the moment I visit a page?

@robbyreindeer Hey Robby! The version of Portuguese that we teach right now is Brazilian Portuguese. They're quite a lot of slight differences in the language itself even though I do have quite a soft spot for Continental Portuguese. I lived in Lisbon for almost a year 🐧 ❤️ So excited for you to give Toucan a try! 😊
