The idea of Tomo Cafe came to life during Covid in 2020, when quarantine depression hit us so hard and we had no motivation to do anything. No humans are born extremely hyper-motivated 24/7, not everyone can be fighting alone. We want to build a space where you feel comfortable, motivated, and seen.
The name is Tomo Cafe because “tomo” means friends in Japanese, and we love studying and working in cafes for the ambiance. We want to mimic the experience of working with friends in a studycafe. That’s how it all started.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by countless deadlines, working or studying alone late at night, or struggling with the weight of being misunderstood, know that as long as we're here, you'll never be alone. Tomo Cafe is currently free to use but there’s one membership - ⭐️Super Tomo - which offers you unlimited chats with our Tomos.
