Hi Product Hunt family! 👋 I’m Audrey Charles, CEO, and Founder of @ Assist Kiku. I’m pleased to announce the launch of Kiku’s time off management solution here on Product Hunt!🎉 As a remote team with members around the globe, we found it difficult to manage our team’s schedules. From working in different time zones to paid time off and vacation days, we were tired of the numerous spreadsheets and wanted an easy way for HR to track and manage a variety of requests. Since we were already using Slack, we started working on a solution to address this disconnect that would help organize the admin work, create absence awareness among the team and keep us on a platform we were already familiar with. The majority of Kiku was developed throughout the winter holidays which made it apparent we were missing a few other key features that revolved around time…so we added holidays, birthdays, and workaversaries and it instantly increased internal relationships. As many departments rarely crossover, this was an opportunity to celebrate and get to know each other a bit better as we no longer had the convenience of gathering around the cake in the lunchroom. These small interactions made a big impact on our team by keeping everyone in the loop. Plus, HR loves how easy it is to manage employee time off requests, especially when it’s time for payroll.
