Recently at my Toastmasters club (Dehiwala Toastmasters Club), the role-player books we had been using ran out. To keep things running smoothly, we printed and bound a fresh set of books. I had been using those books ever since I joined the club, but it wasn’t until that moment that I stopped to think—was there a better, more convenient way? And that’s when the idea was born. I set out to create a mobile-first web app tailored specifically for Toastmasters role players—Timer, Ah Counter, Grammarian, and General Evaluator. An intuitive platform that simplifies report generation and sharing, making it more convenient while also reducing waste—a small yet meaningful step toward sustainability. This experience reminded me that taking a step back and observing our everyday routines can unlock a sea of potential for innovation. I'm excited to see how this initiative helps fellow Toastmasters clubs embrace a greener, more efficient future! Try it out and share your experience!
