A few weeks ago I was looking for a Chrome extension that summarizes webpages ... fully expecting that this was a very solved problem.
But I couldn't find a single one that was clean, fast, and worked well. Even the fancy new browsers (Arc) don't have this feature built-in. I was a little surprised ... and decided to build one for myself.
I started using it all the time (biased, I'm sure...) and figured I'd package it up for others to use/try/give me feedback.
Enter TLDR. It's really fast (says the proud parent). It's a sidebar for Chrome. It works for articles, YouTube videos and PDFs. And it handles 40 languages :)
ps. It does not work in other Chromium-based browsers (like Arc) because the sidebar API tends to be flakier in those.
