Okay, I have to admit it:
This was one of the most innovative launch videos I have seen in a long time (and trust me I have seen many).
Congrats on the launch! Judging from the effort you put into the video, I'm pretty sure the product is going to be smashing!
All the best, man! Super excited for you and your team!
@pollock Thank you for the support! When you get a chance to try out the product, we'd be eager to hear all about your experience and how we can make it better
@mohitmamoria Funny you should say that. We're thinking of using all the revenue from our current idea to start work on building a time machine...that way, you can skip the call altogether :D
That was always the goal
@mohitmamoria Hey Mohit, we have something of the like with timestamped highlight, which allows you to skip to whatever section you like in our tl;dv! You can also make feature requests here: https://tldv.canny.io/feature-re...
Congrats on the launch! I've been an early beta user, and it's amazing how useful the product has been from day 1. TL;DV has been a huge help in capturing our meetings, summarizing it for folks who weren't able to attend, and even providing a reference for the folks that did attend.
@chris_long Thank you, Chris. Honestly, quite an honor to be iterating with & and in front of the product pros to make our meeting cultures better, one meeting at a time :)
Congrats @carlo_thissen & @raphael_allstadt on the launch. I've been a user and big fan of TLDV for 6+ months. I've used it with a couple of teams I've mentored, and have used it extensively for personal consulting work.
Any company looking to move to asynchronous communications should check out the tool. It's a great first step before going all-in on async. It's time for synchronous meetings to get async superpowers.
I can't wait to use this on Zoom. It basically replaces the scrubbing bar and changes the game for how to take notes too. Can't believe we still use Slack and Notion for sharing team notes... so much time lost.
@dangio25 Yessir! We'll be hard at work on porting this for Zoom. We figure we'll perfect it Google Meet and go from there. Here's a short form (https://form.typeform.com/to/m7e...) you can fill out, and we'll hit you up when we have tl;dv for zoom ready :)
Thank you for the kind words.
Great product and super responsive, hard working team. We were one of the lucky ones who were able to test and use it in our weekly meetings, when it was still in development. Great to see the progress and growth that has been made. well done @carlo_thissen
@carlo_thissen@maxcocko Thank you, Max - and also A BIG BIG THANK YOU for your time for our user research. Honestly - it makes allllllll the difference.
@maxcocko you were absolute heros to go into Alpha with us! If you could even call it an Alpha project at that moment back in time hahaha. Thanks for your support!!
@rctung Thanks Roger!!! Download our Chrome Extension and test it out. It takes literally a minute to set everything up. Once you do that, don't forget to reach out to us and let us know your feedback. We love hearing from our users.
We are using tl;dv in the eco.com crypto community to run governance meetings. These are important meetings for many members, but we all are in different time zones which makes it impossible to please everyone at the time of the meeting.
But thanks to you guys, many members have been able to catch up on important stuff and save time by just jumping to the part of the meeting which is relevant to them.
On the other side it's also have been a huge time saver, just being able to time tag live during the meetings and not to have to spend hours after the meeting to wrap up important points.
The fact that you can have your recording made public another essential feature for us.
Here's an example of one of our last meetings:
( 50 min long... but anyone can understand what happens there in less than 5 min thanks to tl;dv magics! )
https://tldv.io/app/meetings/60c...
In our cases, as the community is cosmopolite, transcribe is a huge game-changer too. That would be awesome to have an export button for this one, so we can translate it easily for sub-language communities. Do you guys think that would be possible to have such an extra feature ?
Keep the good work guys!
@jeremie_olivier
First, thank you for using, trusting, and supporting tl;dv. It's cool to see our product to be used exactly the problems we are trying to solve!
On top of that, I'm super glad you are using it inside the eco.com community that looks so interesting! I don't know it yet really well - but from what I've seen already, I really love this community.
Now - regarding your question about exporting transcripts into other languages: it's actually a super cool idea, we love it!
First, we are planning to jump on the 2nd iteration of our Transcription service to enable us to support multiple languages. Then, we could work on this feature if it's also requested from other users.
You can have a look in here https://tldv.canny.io/feature-re... to to submit and follow your request :)
