Happy Spreadsheet Day (October 17)! The Tiller Money Feeds Add-on is a new way to automate personal finance tracking in Google Sheets. You can now connect your banks and automatically feed your daily finances into *any* new or existing Google spreadsheet. No more data entry, multiple account logins, or dealing with CSV files. It's the fastest way to track your financial life in a spreadsheet. Get started with Tiller's Foundation Template and other prebuilt sheets for budgeting, tracking spending, paying down debt, and more. Or, build your own highly customized money tracking dashboard powered by Tiller Money Feeds. It's a personal finance tool made for makers.

@edwardshepard Would be cool to know if you support non-US banks on the front page. I couldn't find it actually anywhere on the site. Are banks in Europe also supported? Big fan of the idea.
Peter Polson
@edwardshepard @luikohl Thanks Lui - yes - we're discussing how to support outside our initial focus on the US. Stay tuned!

I signed up yesterday and so far it's very impressive. I have used both Mint and Personal Capital in the past but being a spreadsheet nerd, I felt that I could do so much more if I had access to raw transactions. Out of the box template is quite good and will serve most basic needs. Today seems to be the right day to go crazy with the spreadsheet.

Been using it for over a year. Couldn’t be happier!

I've used Tiller since a few months after they launched. This is the best personal finance tool on the market. The power of feeds from every major bank (due to their integration with Yodlee) plus the ability to use my own envelope-based budgeting sheet puts me in simple finance nirvana.

I'm curious how this compares with YNAB from users that have tried both. I find YNAB very complex, but I am also pretty lousy with spreadsheets.
Ian
@chad_wilken I used YNAB and hated it, Tiller is far more flexible.
Ian
been using for about a year now and love it. much better than any other app I've used (Mint, etc)

Have been using Tiller for a couple of months now. Big fan of the product and enjoy doing my finances in Google Sheets versus another PFM. I was using sheets manually prior so this made it sense. It's really flexible - i was able to update my home value using a Zestimate from the Zenefits API and a script that was out of the box from Tiller

I've been using Tiller for a couple months now and it makes dealing with my finances so much easier and faster than anything else I've used before. When you have edge cases like joint accounts where you only want to track a portion of the spending, doing it yourself with a spreadsheet and Tiller is the only solution I've found.

I started using it last week. It seems much better than any app I used before. I'm a spreadsheet junky, so having my finance in Google Sheets is a plus. Does it show each transaction on my credit card or just the total of my bill?
Edward Shepard
@thomas_schultz_wenk Hello! Tiller imports credit card data transaction by transaction. So if you spend $10.69 on your Spotify subscription with your Visa, you’ll see a $10.69 line item in Google Sheets. And your Visa's account balance will be updated in Google Sheets as well. Cheers!

I really wanted Tiller to be the answer.. Sadly the same accounts that don't work with every other service also don't work here. These accounts are listed on your spreadsheet as working. I think you need 2 classifications. Works, and Works but will require you to reauthorize the account from the console every time. Even if this could be done from within the sidebar it could be acceptable.. but not as it is unfortunately.
Peter Polson
@vaelek thanks for trying Tiller - and yes, supporting all banks robustly is a top priority (and underway). We'll also be adding more sidebar functionality for our new Tiller Money Feeds Add-on.

Download all of your transactions into pre-built templates or customize your own Google Sheet. Neatly organized, Sleek look, totally flexible and most importantly keeps you up to date with ALL of your accounts and on budget -unlike some other companies. FinTech Genius

Use it constantly. Spreadsheet junky, love that there is something out there that'll feed my transactions daily.

PFMs Drive me crazy, way too inflexible! That left me tracking my finances manually in spreadsheets, until Tiller! I like the template approach: here’s how we see it working, give it a try and if you see a different path, here’s s the tools to blaze that trail...and btw, tell us all about it!
