Hey, hunters šŸ‘‹ Iā€™m Nikita, CEO & founder of the Tilda website builder. I'm thrilled to share an impressive timesaver and handy feature: Figma To Tilda Design Import. At Tilda, we are dedicated to simplifying the website design process. With the Figma To Tilda Design Import, we're bridging the gap between your design creation and website building, making it a seamless experience. You don't need to transfer every element from Figma to Tilda manually anymore. Now you can effortlessly import your designs, which means more time for creativity and less time spent on the technicalities. As a designer, I know the frustration of recreating layouts from one platform to another. Tilda users have mentioned this as well, so our team and I determined to make the process smoother for fellow creators and built this automation. The process is as easy as 1, 2, 3: prepare the Figma layout, generate the API token, copy the URL, and click the "Import" button, done! Hereā€™s the detailed guide with a video tutorial: https://help.tilda.cc/zero-figma... Please share your feedback: Your insights not only mean the world to us but are also crucial in shaping the future of the platform! Thanks for using Tilda and letā€™s keep making web design smoother together! šŸ’»āœØ

This is a 100% time-saver, mood-saver, client-saver, family-saver, etc šŸ˜… I mean, this feature may seem like a small improvement, but it can actually make a huge difference in your life as a designer, because if you calculate how many hours it saves you per week, per month, per year..... So that it can free up a lot of time to spend with your kids, reading, studying - you name it! All this is just to say that the feature is awesome, thanks for making it so accessible!

@elizaveta_dmitrieva Thanks for highlighting the human side, very interesting feedback!
Congratulations Team Figma to Tilda Design Import on your incredible launch on Producthunt! This is a much-needed interface automating the design transfer and saving countless hours for designers. As a suggestion, maybe adding a feature to monitor changes and automatically update the Tilda website when changes are made in the Figma design could make it even more all-rounded. Fantastic work!
Nikita Obukhov
@manmohit Hey there! Thanks a million for your feedback! And for an amazing idea!! Automatic design updates seem to be one of the next challenges, the logic is yet to be determined. But how great that you are looking ahead!

Hi Tilda team, Thank you for the amazing website builder and for introducing the new feature! I've been using Tilda for years now, and I wonder how it works with adaptive versions? Do you still need to adjust ipad & mobile versions by hand to make it look good? I also tried to use some plugins last year to transfer Figma layout to Tilda, yet it wasn't working good, as you still needed to fix many things by hand to make them pixel-perfect. Looking forward to trying it out!
Nikita Obukhov
@darya_skd Hey Darya! Thank you for this post! All the pre-designed blocks are responsive by default while Zero Block (the built-in web design editor) allows you to manually adjust the layout for different screens, providing more flexibility in terms of mobile web design. Well, now the plugins are not needed anymore, the Figma To Tilda Import allows you to get the pixel-perfect layout imported to the platform automatically. You'll just need to check the responsive layouts for mobile devices and you are good to go!

Iā€™m super excited to see this feature here because now more people can discover it. Funnily enough, the import was one of the major factors why I decided to switch to Tilda over a year ago and make it my go-to website builder. I use it for all my projects, but exporting designs can be a hassle. Usually you do all of it manuallyā€”download the images, recreate the elements like shapes and buttons from scratch based on the prototype you have on Figma, copy-paste text content to related text boxes, etc... After that you have to make sure that things like colors, fonts, spacing and positioning are correct and match the original. Using Import illuminates almost all the manual work, and itā€™s not even the best part. The best part for me is that your website is ready to go online right then and there. Congrats on the launch and big thanks to the team for this fantastic feature!
Nikita Obukhov
@a_shpv Thank you, Alex! Very inspiring story:) Special thanks for describing all the nuances of importing manually - it really often seems like an overwhelming burden. Glad to be able to simplify the design process!

Hey there! Your product, Figma to Tilda, seems like a fantastic tool for streamlining website design. I'm really excited to see it in action when you launch. Do you have any advice for someone like me who's about to launch their own product? I'd also love to get your feedback once my product is live. Feel free to click on the "Notify" button to get notified when it's ready. Thanks in advance!

@stylar_ai Hey there, first of all - good luck with your launch!! Happy to share our course about launching a quality landing page: https://tilda.education/en/landi... It will definitely help you to make sure the landing page you invite people to is impeccable!

I used to use another website builder for many years, and at the time you couldnā€™t import Figma designs directly into the builder. So you had two options basically. Option one, manual recreation of your designs using the editor (which is quite common yet time-consuming). Option two, use a third-party plugin thatā€”up to this day I must addā€”scrambles layers out of the order, ruins imagery quality, loses text, etc. I canā€™t even begin to describe what a pain in the neck it was having to figure out what went wrong this time and redo some bits and parts, reupload images, add text manually, and so on. Sometimes it took almost as long as just the basic manual recreation. That is one of the main reasons why I decided to switch to Tildaā€”the export process is literally several clicks. Kudos to the team for a feature that actually works, saves time, and as a bonus helps maintain my sanity :)
Nikita Obukhov
@lucas_george Nice, thanks for sharing this! And good luck with creating great websites! Hope you'll enjoy the journey!

Alexander Bobko
wow, looks awesome! No need to ask developers anymore:)

Narendra Solanki
Congratulations on the launch of this innovative tool on Product Hunt! šŸŽ‰ It's fantastic to see how you've simplified the web design process by enabling seamless integration from Figma to Tilda. This automation not only saves time but also ensures design integrity. A suggestion for future updates could be the inclusion of a feature for real-time collaboration, allowing teams to work simultaneously on the design in Figma and see updates reflected in Tilda. This would further streamline the workflow and enhance team productivity. Great job on this game-changing tool! šŸ‘šŸš€
Nikita Obukhov
@narendra_solanki Hey, thank you, very inspiring feedback for the entire Tilda team! As for the teamwork on Tilda, it is already possible to grant access to other users and edit projects together, here is more: https://help.tilda.cc/multi-user...
Julia Shareika
Hey team, congrats on the launch! šŸŽ‰ I always thought exporting was a drag, but you've changed my mind! It's super handy, especially when you're in a hurry. The only thing taking up time now is just resizing for different screens after moving everything to Tilda. It'd be awesome if you could find a fix for that too. Big thumbs up to all the web designers out there! šŸ¦¦šŸ¦¦
Nikita Obukhov
@julia_shareiko_jensen Hi, thank you for the feedback! Nice to hear you are already using the feature! Regarding the automatic layout resizing, the current logic is the following: if you are using pre-designed Tilda blocks, they are responsive by default; if you are using Zero Block, you have the possibility to creatively adapt your designs to different screen resolutions.
Katie Kim
The main perk for me is zero coding and no HTML/CSS conversion hassle. It says ā€œautomaticā€ in the description, and it is actually an automatic transfer. Definitely a must-try for web designers seeking optimizing the design process.
Nikita Obukhov
@kattie_kim So true, thank you, Katie!!
Roman Kosov
Itā€™s a must-have tool for anybody, who wants to not only export their designs but also launch an actual website. It's very satisfying to see your long worked-on layout go live in an instant. I'm really looking forward to other useful integrations that Tilda Publishing has in store for us!
Nikita Obukhov
@roman_kosov I couldn't agree more - this satisfying feeling when the website goes live is pricelessšŸ¤©
Dimitrio
Congratulations on the launch! As a web designer, I believe that many fellow-designers will find this feature extremely useful. In fact, for some people it could be the determining factor in whether or not they choose to sign up for Tilda. It's actually kind of surprising that there aren't many decent alternatives out there, so thank you for creating this one and keeping it free.
Nikita Obukhov
@dimitrio Thanks, Dimitro! It's really precious to hear a professional designer's point of view. All the best!
Garen Orchyan
Congratulations on the launch, good luck šŸŽŠšŸ¦„ā™„ļø
Nikita Obukhov
@orchyan Thanks, Garen šŸ„³
Alex
The best part about this one for meā€“no need to convert designs to HTML/CSS. In fact, no coding involved whatsoever.. For web designers with busy schedules (or those feeling a bit lazy:)) like myself, itā€™s a game-changer. Guys at Tilda are really dedicated to their no code concept. Genuinely love this thing, thank you team!
Nikita Obukhov
@alexfluff So nice, thanks, Alex!! Happy to be of use! And good luck with your upcoming projects!

First of all, itā€™s really cool to see how Tilda is constantly updating and adding new features. This import feature is not exactly new but itā€™s become an essential part of my day-to-day design process. It not only saves time, itā€™s transformed the whole exporting routine for meā€”it is now pretty much completely hassle and stress-free. Big kudos and congrats to the team! Canā€™t wait to see what youā€™re going to come up with next!
Nikita Obukhov
@new_user_1808661ef1 Thank you, Stacey! We will try to keep making life easier for designers with each release!
Otman Alami
what about animations?
Nikita Obukhov
@otman_alami Great question, thank you, Otman! Animation is set up directly in Zero Block. You can either use Basic animation with pre-designed effects such as fade-in or parallax effects (here's more about it: https://help.tilda.cc/zero-block...) or create custom sequences using the Step-by-Step Animation (more on this: https://step-by-step-animation.t...) Both tools were designed especially for web design. Also, you may want to check our Web Animation Course with plenty of cool effects and guides on how to make them on Tilda: https://tilda.education/en/web-a...
