Tidily is a simple task manager that

1. Lets you manage your project boards.

2. Helps you plan your day, week, month.

3. Keeps you accountable with it's task backlog.

4. Lets you capture quick thoughts in inbox.

5. Offers a super fast experience with offline support.

Hey everyone 👋 I made this little tool because when it comes to productivity I had a weird issue : I like fast simple apps but I had multiple use cases like kanban boards, todo lists, inbox, backlog, daily, weekly, monthly planning etc. Most of the time I ended up using multiple apps for all my use cases but eventually started building tidily to make things simpler for me. It may not for everyone and it won't magically make you extra productive but it will definitely will make your task management workflow faster and well organized. Feel free to ask me anything !

No weekly planner on the market is doing a good job in my eyes. Weekplan is too crowded interface. The best in my eyes is teuxdeux as the UI is very good (everything on one screen, weekly view on top/list and backlog in the bottom) but they don't improve this tool any further.

Pros:

A new weekly planner.

Cons:

The calendar view is too separated from the list/backlog so it's not easy to use them both together

I discovered TeuxDeux because of your comment. I took a look at their website and it seems pretty cool and like it hasn’t changed in many many years. I assume you’ve used it? What did you not like about it?

Thanks for the review Raphaël, and I agree for some users having all their todo lists and calendar tasks in the same scrreen makes sense but Tidily is aimed towards project use as well and showing projects along side week/month view will become really cluttered. It makes sense for teuxdeux because they do not offer projects and only offers lists or month view. And also a interesting thing about Tidily is that your calendar / weekly / daily task list also shows any project/ list related tasks that has a due date in it so you never loose track of your tasks.

Application down?

Seems very nice. I guess there's nothing to lose by trying out the free trial, and the pricing seems very reasonable ($24 per year.) I see one negative rating on PH, but no review so no justification as to why it was rated this way.

@anna_0x Thanks Anna, and you are right.. an explanation would have been helpful for the negative review.

Tidily combines the visibility of a kanban board with the structure of a calendar, together with the simplicity of a to do list. Easy to set up yet with just the right level of functionality to make it useful.

Pros:

Tidily has revolutionised my productivity process. Tidily combines the functions that I need but in a way that really delivers.

Cons:

Hardly any cons! There are a few additional functions that I would love such as recurring themes and iOS app.

Is the app still in development? I think it looks amazing after testing it out - but want to make sure it's still supported before I spend hours and hours setting up all my projects/tasks. Willing to sign up after looking at your roadmap - but not really if the features are not going to be shipped, especially recurring tasks and a zapier integration.
