@burojevic Hi Vedran, great question. We do offer shipping to outside the USA at the moment. Only issue is our lab is based in the US so the turnaround for results is a bit longer (30% more).
Understanding your gut health is super important. This company approaches the SCIENCE of gut health with accessibility and transparency. Love how personalized the product is - my first customized probiotic (and now I wont go back to generic). Their list of food ingredients is comprehensive, impressive too.
@sorayadarabi Thanks for the kind words Soraya. Science is at the forefront of what we are doing for the microbiome and more specifically probiotics. Probiotics may get a bad rep at times, but we are looking to change that.
Feedback on the ordering process: When purchasing a product that costs >$100, I always find it remarkably disappointing that the $3-$4 cost for shipping is not baked into the product's price. If I'm spending this much money, shipping should be "free". I shouldn't have an extra expense tacked on when I reach the shipping screen.
@magnuson Hi Charles, appreciate the feedback. Since our testing has 2 way shipping costs (to the customer and back to the lab), we have it as an additional on the price. That said, we only charge shipping for one-way (to your door), while we cover the cost back to the lab.
I like the idea, but the website feels like a basic e-commerce that I don't want to trust with my health data - it's a pass based on the UX
Just want to flag that these comments flooding in seem very sketchy. Many of them are from brand new accounts with no activity other than upvoting and commenting on this product. PH community, proceed with caution.
@aaroniclee Hi Aaron, thanks for your comment. We did announce to our customers we are on Product Hunt so many of them came to show their support. Most of our customers aren't active users of PH so that may be the reason why their activity is low.
Yes! I've been a big fan of Thryve since their first product. Had a lot of issues with my stomach and thought I was gluten intolerant, turns out it was just issues with my gut Biome. I had tried other probiotics before but the Thyrve kit they sent was able to pinpoint exactly what my needs were. I've been eating well since :)
My wife has already taken the test and got results back that her gut bugs are almost perfect. I am jealous. But the results still came with a detailed explanation and suggestions for maintaining good health.
@rainercta Hi Alan, thanks for replying. Apologies that was a mistake on my end. I meant to say half a million confirmed cases in the US per year.
I tried thryve about a couple years back, their Weight Management Probiotic (👍 packing), felt really better in just 2-3 days after I started using it, will definitely try it out again soon. @richard_lin Any deals that we should be on the lookout for?
This sounds and looks promising but man do I feel like Theranos has done a number on this type of product and industry in general. Fingers crossed that it works out for you!
@marius_f Thankfully, we aren't a medical device / diagnostic where we diagnose disease! We don't make that promise.
Also Theranos was saying they can detect 400+ items with one blood prick. Thryve does not make that claim.

Have made many attempts to improve my microbiom over they years and so far have been a big fan of Thryve. Looking fwd to more product innovation ; )
My Dr prescribed probiotics but just the over-the-counter stuff. I can appreciate that this is much more customized to myself after sending them a sample. Thank you Thryve.

Most comprehensive and actionable data I’ve received about my health - better mood, weight management and understanding of why certain foods don’t agree with me. Probiotic subscription is really convenient & food recommendations are helpful, but also love all of the health data & resources available.

@dilrajghumman1 That's really one of the biggest areas of microbiome science (gut-brain axis). 90% of the serotonin is created in the gut and the vagus nerve (the nerve that connects the brain to the gut) is bi-directional! The gut bugs talk to the brain and vice versa. Super exciting and look forward to helping you learn more!
