@mjain_mayank - Thanks Mayank. We have learned a lot from Splitwise, and it is a great product. I have used it quite a bit my self. The utility of splitting is magnified when it is combined with events and chat; the combo is really powerful.
Started playing around with this and see the potential, but would need to dig around a bit more to get more used to it. Im a little confused about the events aspect - like theres a group chat that for events? is it more of like having threaded conversations? Very clean and slick looking app by the way, and congrats on the launch!
@britt_joiner That's correct, for the first time you can create an event directly in the chat, and automatically invite everyone.
I have few questions
As in India we have UPI and it works really well for all, So what are the additional benefits i am going to get from your product?
Your app UI looks like whatsapp or is this dark mode?

We started thisapp to make it easier for friends and family to get together. Throughout our journey, we realized we had the opportunity and the responsibility to create a new social app that had the power to connect people and bring them together.
So far, we have built a new chat that features events and a calendar to keep track of everything. And we will be releasing the split payment feature set very soon.
But as you can see from the what’s next image above, we’re just getting started. Next, we will reimagine the social experience with an informal event feed that is purpose-built to bring people together. We’ve been iterating with early users daily, and shipping features weekly.

Creating instant events within a chat is a game changer.
This removes 99% of the logistics effort in organising time with friends and family. I’m hooked!

It's a slick app without the noise of say Facebook, Instagram or Whatsapp and just makes it seamless to organise events with friends.
I like how you create events within the chat and quickly share with people. It's so annoying trying to do group organisation with other apps. Not everyone uses their calendar for social things while Facebook is also less popular in my circles.
I think something like this has been missing for a long time. I'm really excited to see where this goes. Can't wait to see the later features rolled out.

Been using thisapp to keep in touch with my friend group for awhile now - been a breathe of fresh air really compared to other group messaging apps we had tried before. Looking forward to what's to come!
Where has This App been all my life!! The best app for anyone looking to arrange meet-ups or chat in groups.

It's a great app which helps me be a part my favourite events 🙂 It is wonderful to have a niche focused app that lets you go through multiple events of your choice.
