Episode Two was finally just released: http://thesilentage.com/blog/201...
I loved Episode One. It's a very simple point-and-click puzzle game, but the art and ambient audio experience makes it compelling and unique gaming experience.
I have a soft spot for point-and-click adventure games. I have fond memories of Sam & Max, Secret of Monkey Island (which I worked on porting to the browser/Facebook while at InstantAction), and Machinarium.
Any other iOS-based adventure games to recommend, @chrismessina?
I owe a lot of my sense of humour and love for storytelling to the classic point-and-click games like Monkey Island too. It just so happens that I don't think I've played any compelling PaC adventure games in a long while! It seems like The Silent Age fits more in line with immersive, discovery type of games like Journey or Limbo. I do hope that the game makes use of the smartphone's native capabilities - otherwise it's a lost opportunity to tell stories in new ways that previous platforms couldn't afford.\
I'll give this a shot. Needed a distraction on the commute anyway :)
