@morphineendo Handshake’s goal is to enable fully peer to peer DNS. - It’s a standalone blockchain optimized to do this at scale. You can run a Handshake light client on your phone to self-verify domains with no trade off in DNS lookup speeds. - Anyone can self-custody their own domain and self-sign their own ssl certificates, removing the need for third party Certificate Authorities. - And it’s backwards compatible with traditional DNS, meaning you can use tools like Vercel web hosting, DNSimple nameservers, or Namecheap registrar.
