Recently did one of the challenges, and really enjoyed pushing my creativity as well as checking out what others had created with similar prompts!
Great idea, i just tried it and it is really fun ..and challenging!! Congratulations guys ideas like this are rare to find!

@ivan_zenkovich @pchocho1, I have a small feedback
1. I think it will be great to have public community challenges, so I can join the existing community instead of creating new with my friends.
2. If I want to be alone in this creative journey, I would prefer daily challenges with the ability to view other's results and share results+link.
3. It will be great to have competition mode with a voting system (e.g. 3/5/7 creators battle :)
4. I really appreciate random drawing tools!
5. Don't like that anyone who joins my challenge should register

I'm an educator and YDays would be great with students and colleagues. Any plans to make a version you can do with a group in real time?

Hey folks 👋, I’m a designer and creative coder from Oakland, and this is my first launch on Product Hunt. I’m excited to share YDays with you!
In August 2020, a layoff from work led me to devote my full time to this passion project. I was inspired by a Slack community of lettering artists and type designers I’m part of. We sometimes run challenges: we choose a theme and generate constraints we all need to follow. Then we share our creations, vote our favorites, and post them on Instagram. It’s part accountability, part inspiration, and competition, but above all, it’s super fun.
I’ve noticed a lot of people like to make things, but they don’t always get to be creative in their day-to-day life. And creative expression is a great way we get to know our friends and coworkers.
When you create a five-day challenge on YDays and invite friends or coworkers, you’ll get a different interactive drawing tool every day. The tools have unusual properties, so part of the fun is discovering what you can make. It’s a bit of a level playing field too since no one will be an “expert” at drawing with a novel tool.
I’ve been blown away by what our test users so far have been coming up with in these challenges, and here are some real quotes from users so far:

YDays is such a fun ritual to nurture in the morning - a few minutes of creativity to start the day, and also an opportunity to share that silly creativity with friends.

I've been playing this week with my neighbours. I love that each day the drawing tool works differently--it is delightful and fun.

I love it! I’m not very tech savvy - but I don’t need to be for this! It’s a fun challenge to share with friends and look at things a little differently for a few minutes.

I find the drawing both challenging and relaxing. Even though I need to practice, I love being inspired by my friends.

I love it! I have been enjoying making this part of my routine and just taking some time to draw and relax for a couple of minutes.
