👋 Hi Product Hunt! John Resig and I started working on this book 4 years ago, and it's hard to believe we're finally done. We set out to write the best book on GraphQL out there, and I think we achieved it. John wrote a few books with traditional publishers in the past, and we were confident we wanted to self-publish. The two main benefits are better margins (97% of revenue compared to 50% of gross profit at best) and the ability to continuously update the content (since we don't have a print edition and we have our customer's email addresses). The former allowed us to devote more time to it, and the latter allows us to provide a more useful, compelling product, as programming books quickly get out of date.
