#QOTD: Will you try Musical.ly? If you try it, how do you like it?
#TIMESTAMPS:
13:31 - How many times does it take you to make a musical.ly?
16:03 - What makes musical.ly great? What's the future of it?
20:00 - Will Snapchat ever allow us to sort our friends into groups? If not, why?
I've been curious about the @musicallyapp since hearing @garyvee talk about it... This is an excellent and a great intro to what's really going on with this app in middle schools / high schools.
Probably the most impressive thing was learning that the two 15 year old "Musical.ly celebrities" have an incredible 8 million and 4 million followers. That's insane... And speaks volumes to have big the user base for the app itself really is.
Will have to give it a solid try to really understand it...
@nivo0o0@musicallyapp@garyvee For me, what was crazy was that I was sitting there watching it and figured I'd install the app and check it out - as I did that, the VERY FIRST featured video (before I even registered/logged in) was @BabyAriel. It was pretty great example of her being a key influencer on the platform.
I really liked this episode - not only does @Garyvee refrain from interrupting the girls, but it was fascinating to see early indications in this interview that Twitter might be making a comeback amongst highschool aged students.
