I made Text Grab out of frustration when people would email images or PDFs of text which I couldn't select easily. When I learned there was a simple OCR API in Windows 10 I made a quick proof of concept and loved it so much I began sharing the app with my coworkers, then submitted it to the Microsoft Store.

@vasgo OCR is widely available. Screenshots can be pasted into Google or Bing which then performs OCR on the image. Text Grab is different because it does not upload the image to the web to do the OCR, instead uses the Windows 10 API.
