Terra.do selects talented individuals who care about climate, takes them through an intensive online bootcamp taught by top experts and then exposes them to climate work opportunities (part-time/full/entrepreneurial) that need their skills.
Thanks so much for hunting us, and for the lovely feedback.
We're starting our next cohort on *Aug 17th*, so do apply if you're looking to bring your talents to the climate fight!
The Terra.do bootcamp is the best place for one to build a strong foundation on all things climate, learn from a diverse cohort (entrepreneurs, economists, journalists, policy analysts, investors) through different PoVs for each problem, leverage the value of a strong network of instructors, guest lecturers, mentors - each with deep expertise on solving large societal problems combating climate change and making the world a better place with continual support from the Terra.do team enabling every learner with the right set of tools and frameworks before they set their sight in their individual journeys to combat this global problem.
I recently graduated from the first Terra.do cohort.
As the Course Instructor for the first cohort, I was incredibly impressed and inspired by the learning fellows participating in our course. They are wonderful, interesting, talented, thoughtful, and compassionate people from all over the world, ready to launch themselves into climate careers, projects and lifestyles, and support others in the process. This is the place to be for finding supportive community working, thinking and DOING things about the climate crisis- an incredibly special thing to have these days with restricted in-person educational opportunities due to the global pandemic. The guest expert talks and mentors lining up for the next cohort promise to be better than ever, ready to help you catalyze your personal climate action journey.
There are a lot of people enthusiastic about helping with climate change, but most don't know where to begin getting involved. Terra.do solves a real problem - it allows those who are passionate about the issues to take some courses, with a cohort of others, who are similarly passionate. You emerge from the classes with some concrete knowledge, community and ideas about how you can get involved!
I recently graduated from the first Terra.do cohort and had a wonderful experience. The program helped me establish a good baseline of understanding about climate change through a modern, multimedia approach to learning. The learning community that is emerging around Terra is wonderfully supportive, and the Terra instructors were very hands-on and supportive, taking care to tailor each learner's journey to the goals and needs of each individual including each person's post-Terra professional or personal goals. For anyone looking to get smarter about climate change -- from the science of it to the mitigation efforts to the finance challenges to the social and environmental justice issues inherent throughout -- I highly recommend Terra as a great way to plug in, get knowledgable, and be a part of a growing supportive community.
