Hey Product Hunters, Work is hard enough as it is, we want to help make the people-part of working together easier. We're excited to announce that Teaming now integrates the power of AI note-taking with your team's goals, communication styles, culture, and performance to make your team the highest-performing, healthiest team you can be. This is one step closer to our mission to provide personalized, adaptive, and contextual coaching for teams. Teaming now joins your meetings, automatically takes notes & creates action items/tasks for everyone in the meeting, and individually & privately coaches each participant. In your next 1-on-1 and Team Meeting, you can expect: 1. Automatic Agendas: Teaming looks back at your previous meetings and identifies orphaned topics that didn't come to a decision or outcome, and prioritizes them based on importance. 2. Communication Pattern Identification: Teaming identifies patterns in communication and offers each meeting participant their own, completely private, coaching for how to be a more effective communicator *with their team members* 3. Teaming will identify topics that you haven't talked about, but should probably consider. Think: I haven't spoken with my direct report about their career progression in over a year. Next on our agenda? AI-Performance Reviews. Stay tuned! Thank you, Stephen Franklin, Co-Founder @ Teaming

Congratulations on the launch of Teaming! @stephen_franklin This management app sounds like a game-changer for enhancing team performance and cohesion. Can't wait to see how it revolutionizes team dynamics! How does Teaming ensure privacy and confidentiality while providing personalized coaching to each team member?
Kate O'Neil
@stephen_franklin @10xmarketer Great question! Popping in here for Stephen. Teaming doesn't have a 'company' or 'admin' login. There is no 'god-mode'. The reason we build this way is that trust is *the* most important thing for building a healthy, high-performing team. Teaming is the only place that provide the privacy necessary to build trust. Teams and 1:1s in Teaming are 'walled gardens' so if you're on the team, you can see stuff shared with the team, if you're not on the team, there's no way for you to even see that the team exists in Teaming.
Stephen Franklin
@10xmarketer To add to @teamingkate's point, our personalized coaching approach analyzes actual team and one-on-one meeting discussions. We then tailor the guidance to the work styles and communication preferences of the individuals involved. This contextualized approach ensures our coaching resonates with your unique communication tendencies and those of your colleagues.

@teamingkate @stephen_franklin That sounds fantastic, @stephen_franklin! It's reassuring to hear that Teaming takes privacy and confidentiality seriously while still offering personalized coaching. Leveraging actual team discussions for tailored guidance shows a deep understanding of the nuances within teams. Looking forward to experiencing how Teaming enhances both individual growth and team dynamics!

Managers are being asked to do more than ever. Teaming uses AI to improve efficiency, while still allowing (and encouraging!) the humans to be humans.
Kate O'Neil
@katie_rhode helping humans be humans and using tech to do it. -- that's it! 💙

Teaming has been so invaluable to me as a people manager. Every person on my team has a different work style and needs a different approach to growth and development, and Teaming guides me on the best way to manage each person. It has also been a huge help making the entire team work more effectively and efficiently together. It's like having my own personal coach for people management and performance management.
Kate O'Neil
@brandon_redlinger1 Thank you for sharing your experience with Teaming! That is music to our ears and exactly how we hope to help you and all leaders! 💙

I personally hate people. They are annoying. But, I hate taking meeting notes and keeping track of 1:1's more. If humanity continues to go the way of "building stuff with teams," then I guess we should at least attempt to do it better. In all seriousness, if you can't keep teams feeling challenged, listened to, and fulfilled in their roles, then whatever other performance metrics you track will not matter. Unhappy people will move on (leave, go to competitors, etc.). Now, your historical metrics don't matter; your data is invalid for predicting anything. It's impossible to be predictable if you don't take care of the people building your stuff. Best of luck Kate and Stephen.
Kate O'Neil
@t_magennis 🤣🤣🤣 You got me actually laughing at my computer now. ...Can you imagine if humanity 'builds stuff with teams'?! Seriously though, you are so, so right. And, that's why I'm so passionate about building this.

Congrats on the launch! Is HR your primary buyer? I’ll try it out and provide some feedback!
Kate O'Neil
@georgevityl Thank you, George!! Our primary buyer is directly to team managers. Other managers at the same company (usually) end up seeing Teaming in a meeting or hearing about it from managers who use it and sign up. Then, HR will get involved! HR loves our unique approach for managers and teams and it's an easy sell when employees love it. But, it is a lot different than systems HR is buys because they can't see the user-level information in Teaming (we feel strongly in maintaining a private space for 1-on-1s and giving employees the power to share with HR when they want or need to, and not just providing 'god-mode' access like most HR platforms have today. I am looking forward to hearing your feedback! Thank you again.

@teamingkate I just took a spin in the app. Overall, the UI is clean and easy to navigate. I can see you positioning yourself as an OfficeVibe type app over time. I guess I’m still not sure exactly which issue you’re trying to solve- is it the 1:1 notetaking to action items? Is it the work style differences? Dropping some feedback here happy to share more if you’d like. Pros Clean UI Good mobile experience Lots of cool features to build from Nifty integrations with Google and MS lower friction. Emphasis on privacy is good esp if you want to move to feedback and performance reviews. Potential Challenges You may run into objections for teams that are already provide OKR/task tools by their org. It seems like it’s bigger than a teaming tool for managers to host better 1:1s to a broader platform that may now have to compete with the Asanas of the world. While assistants joining meetings is more commonplace- these features are now native to tools like Zoom. Especially is privacy from the org is part of your ethos. Pricing feels high at the moment for what you’re getting. Do you license DISC as your assessment? I’m wondering how much you can do with that data. Hope this is helpful!

Teaming has truly transformed the way I lead my team—it's become my partner! The coaching is not just on point, but tailored to elevate my leadership style. The AI note-taking feature ensures I stay fully engaged in meetings, making it an invaluable tool for steering my team towards success.

I love myself but I am not perfect. My notes aren't perfect and my 1:1s certainly aren't. I often forget action items, and sometimes I stumble when connecting 1:1 with my teammates. There are a lot of tools out there that help us do our work, but there aren't many that help us work together better. And I'd argue, particularly (but not exclusively) in a world where many of us are remote, that high-performing teams impact value to the business more than any single skill or qualification someone brings. In other words, high-performing teams are business critical. Between AI-driven feedback on 1:1s and team calls, AI notetaker and action taker, and DISC assessments to help me understand behaviors, Teaming is one of the few platforms that actually does help me build a high-performing team. I use the feedback to improve. I use the notetaker and action-maker to hold my team and myself accountable -- without adding any work onto myself. I turn to team member profiles when I'm baffled by something someone did/didn't do. I've brought Teaming into 3 of my companies and will continue to do so. Indispensable product for building a performant team.

@hana_elliott1 These common hurdles and blind spots are exactly why we built Teaming: to help busy managers fill in the gaps with critical recall and insights so they're equipped to build stronger connections with their teammates and lead a healthier team that performs together. And this is just the first step. We're thrilled that Teaming is valuable to you, and can't wait to show you what's next! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Stephen Franklin
@hana_elliott1 Thank you for your continued support, Hana! It's so encouraging to hear how Teaming has helped you build strong teams across multiple companies. Whether it's enhancing those 1:1 connections, summarizing key actions so nothing slips, or using DISC to understand communication styles better - we've got your back. 💪 Our goal is to enable productive collaboration without piling more on your plate. Glad to hear we're making a difference! Thanks again for the kind words!
