Hello again Product Hunt ๐Ÿ‘‹ and thanks for hunting us @jason :) We are excited to share Taskable 2.0. We think it will be the last time management and task app you'll ever need to try. Taskable is the best way to timeblock your day. We are focused on helping individuals manage the most precious resource: your time. The way Taskable works: ๐Ÿ”Œ We integrate with the tools you already use, like Asana, Slack, Gmail, Trello, GitHub, Jira, HubSpot, Google Calendar, and more to bring everything you need to get done into a single view ๐Ÿ—“ We make it easy to schedule your top priorities and move things out of your backlog and into a plan of action ๐Ÿงฑ We make timeblocking as simple as drag and drop, so you can put tasks into your calendar all in one app. Productive expert Cal Newport estimates you can get as much as 50% more done with timeblocking versus unstructured time, and Taskable is the fastest and easiest way to timeblock. Since our last launch, we decided to focus on the calendar and the relationship between tasks and time. Our users have been loving it, and we think you will too :)

I would like to introduce you to one of our investments, Taskable, a productivity web-app that helps you stay focused on top priorities. Hereโ€™s how it works: 1. Create an account at taskablehq.com 2. Integrate all of your productivity tools (Slack, Asana, Jira, Trello, etc) 3. Their time blocking makes it easy to move your top priorities into your calendar Try it out at https://taskablehq.com

You guys are relentless. When is a Linear integration coming? Any tips on timeblocking? I've tried it a couple of times with Google Calendar but I can't get it to work for me.
Matthew Johnson
@davej thanks Dave! Excited for our next desktop update with the new ToDesktop 2.0 features! Linear is on the roadmap - we hope to start adding more integrations in the next few months. And my top tips for timeblocking, besides using Taskable, is making it super simple to add things to your calendar. If you are having to copy and paste stuff from all over into your cal then it gets clunky and it's easy to give up. If everything is in one place then it's easy to get everything you need into the calendar. We have written up quite a few posts on timeblocking here if helpful: https://taskablehq.com/tags/time...

Looks promising. Congrats

Carlo Thissen
Exhaustive integrations list yet the product seems super simple. Love it!
Matthew Johnson
@carlo_thissen That's the idea Carlo. Productivity tools should be simple or else you spend all your time managing them and not getting work done.
Carlo Thissen
@mattcrail I manage all of my tasks in Notion. Any chance you have an integration planned already?
Matthew Johnson
@carlo_thissen Notion is definitely on the roadmap, but it's fairly complex so we aren't 100% sure how it needs to work because everyone has their own setups and workflows in Notion. I'd love to hear more on how it would need to work for you?
Maria
Amazing! ^_^ Taskable has awesome features, and seems it can be a great magnifier of efficiency! I would love to try it out! *_* Does it have maybe an extension for Chrome? *_*
Matthew Johnson
@maria_brm Hi Maria - we do have a Chrome extension. You can get it here: https://chrome.google.com/websto...
Maria
@mattcrail Great! *__* Thanks a lot for the link, and thank you for the answer Matthew! I will be happy to try it out! ^__^
Sam DeBrule
congrats on the launch @mattcrail! what originally inspired you to create Taskable? What did you learn in 1.0 that encouraged you to focus on the calendar and the relationship between tasks and time in 2.0?
Matthew Johnson
@samdebrule great questions, thanks Sam! We started working on Taskable because me and my co-founder had the same problem around context switching and all the tasks and information we needed to get work done spread across multiple tabs, tools, and platforms. So we started out initially very focused on the integrations. However, we found that once we pulled in all these tasks and information, we need to better control how we planned and prioritized what we get done. And lots of our users kept asking us about timeblocking features, which is something I never really tried before we built the feature into Taskable. So we recognized we needed better tools to help people manage their time, and timeblocking is a really great way to do that. Combined with our scheduling workflows and integrations we think we are the best way to timeblock efficiently, and get the most out of that practice.
Venla Kรคrkimaa
Exactly what I've needed for quite some time now! Congrats on the launch, great work ๐Ÿฅณ
