Revolutionize your website's user experience with Tars Prime Powered by ChatGPT!.
In just seconds, it'll create a custom chatbot trained on your website's content to answer any questions.
Hello everyone, I am Vinit, one of the makers of Tars Prime. I am super excited to launch our newest product which allows anyone to build chatbots based on their website content. Powered by OpenAI + ChatGPT. You just need to copy and paste your website URL and click a button. And your chatbot will be ready in just a few seconds.
Once the chatbot is ready, It will give a brief summary of what it understands about your website and even generate some sample questions that the user might want to ask the chatbot. This will make it easier the start the conversation with the Chatbot.
You can ask it any question in an open-ended natural language fashion, pretty much like you would ask ChatGPT. It will restrict its response to the website information and will refuse to go beyond it. This will make sure the conversation is relevant to your brand and it doesn't go off-topic.
How it works: Once you click the button, It crawls through all the pages from your website, cleans the page to get the relevant text from it, and makes a knowledge base that can be used by the AI. Currently, it is limited to getting information from static pages only. That is if your website has dynamically rendered content from Javascript, it won't be able to pick information from it. Also, if your website works only for residential IPs or if it is behind a firewall or a captcha to view, it might not work as expected. We plan to work on ways to address these issues in the future.
We wanted to make the product immediately useful for business. So as soon as the chatbot is ready, you can use signup on our platform and see the chatbot in your Tars account. You can share the chatbot with your friends and colleagues for testing and once you are happy, you can go ahead and add it to your website as a widget.
You can also see all the conversations that are happening on that chatbot by anyone, by going into the Data View section of your Tars account, for that chatbot. That way you can understand what kind of questions people are asking on your Tars Prime Chatbot and what responses are being given by it. This will help you improve the quality of your chatbot.
Coming to improving the quality of the chatbot, you can do that by changing the Base prompt for the Chatbot. You can do that by clicking on the settings (gear) icon next to the chatbot. Changing the prompt has a huge impact on the quality of the chatbot's answers. So do try it out.
That's it for now. I am super super excited to finally be able to launch our product in this amazing community. Looking forward to your support and feedback to help us improve and keep building in this new AI age, Thanks a lot.
@vinit_agrawal2 I appreciate the simplicity of the process and the ability to customize the chatbot's base prompt for improved quality. I wish you and your team all the best and look forward to seeing more updates in the future!
@salilpa Thanks Salil. The default limit is 100 pages, but you can increase it up to 1000 pages by going to the settings (gear) icon, once you log in. Please do try it on your help docs pages and share your feedback. Thanks a lot π
@matcha_anil thank you! From the outside would look similar but there is a very powerful product in the backend that our team has built in the last 5-6 years.
Helps create really complex and evolved chatbot automations for enterprises.
@vinit_agrawal2 Nice project and good luck on your launch. ππ

Congrats on the launch! The ability to quickly build a chatbot based on website content is definitely useful for businesses. I'm curious, how does Tars Prime handle multiple languages on a website? Does it automatically detect and switch languages for the chatbot?
