We've been beta testing takeshape for use as a CMS for thegymnasium.com on our twitch livestream. It's been a fantastic product to use, and the learning experience has been wonderful. Even as someone with limited exposure to GraphQL, I had no problem picking this up and running with it.
Pros:Super easy to use! We went from 0 experience to a CMS Proof of Concept in under an hour!
Cons:Some dev experience required
TakeShape is a great tool for rapidly testing out new ideas, figuring out what works, and continuing to iterate.
We've been building massivesci.com with TakeShape for the last year and a half—it was a great choice. We've been able to develop and deploy a robust static publication with a fairly complex schema at very small cost. The ability to create and update content types has allowed us to rapidly test new features and designs with limited overhead.
Pros:Fast and easy to prototype and iterate new product features; no database maintenence required; GraphQL endpoints allow for future growth
Cons:Developer experience required
The best approach to a CMS I've ever seen. Flexible deploy options, beautiful interface, great, useful data types & structures. The SSG portion is brilliant. Lovely tool overall.
Pros:Easy to use, fast, full-solution, amazing dev tools
Cons:Missing some admin features that might be useful for blogs / non-tech users
Love developing in TakeShape!
Pros:Clean, Elegant, Fast, Developer friendly.
Cons:Although never noted any issues its a new product.
Great product - easy to use. Useful
Pros:Easy to use
Cons:Could add more choices
Bluesky
It's tight; everything I need rn ✌️
Pros:Simple, fast, low overhead
Cons:Docs and examples are still coming along. Not really a con since they're updated every few days.
