When we founded Synthesia almost three years ago we had a vision to make it easier to create video content for everyone. But not just a little easier; our goal was to introduce a paradigm shift in how we think about media production from something we record with cameras to something we program with computers. Today is a special moment on our journey as we launch what was once a fragile dream – a self-service platform that could transform text to a realistically looking video in minutes. It took a lot of tears, sweat, long nights, semi-manual projects and blue-sky R&D to get to this point. This product is still in public beta. But we’re really excited to see Fortune 500 companies and even small startups already using it for all sorts of purposes and unleashing previously untapped creativity with video. And we're just at the beginning. The media production pipeline is being reinvented, driven by the ability of neural networks to imitate the real world. @vriparbelli Victor, the ability to upload own audio appears not to be available in the plan I just signed up for (30 euro a month). How much is the corporate plan (which the system indicates I need to do upload audio) - I can't see anywhere to upgrade or what the cost is?

@vriparbelli I have been trying to cancel my subscription for the last 3 weeks. But your support team is just ignoring it. I have filled out the form 3 times, sent 3-4 emails to Nadia but she has also not taken any action. Can you please ask your team to cancel my account?

That's seriously awesome. 2 questions... 1- What does pricing look like? I generally avoid products that don't display pricing of some sort. Only because most of the time there's a bit of a catch. 2- I saw that you said you're working on uploading your own voice. How close are things to being able to do this with your own person? For instance, I do courses and it would be nice to have my team able to create some of those for me potentially. Not sure what that looks like on our end, but it's seriously cool!

1) The basic account that gives you up to 10 videos / month costs currently while in beta only $30 / month. You can set it up yourself here: https://www.synthesia.io/create-... 2) This already works on our enterprise plans - companies are already using their own custom avatars and uploading voices if they want to. @synthesia @jmarovt I agree with jeff on pricing. I have subscribed to beta version thinking I can get access to all features ,limited by number of videos. But then there are restrictions on uploading own voice,translation and using own avatar. I understand that these might cost high and hence the restriction,but then things can be more clear.

@jmarovt I have been following the trends with descript/lyrebird,synthesia since quite some time, so I'm sure it's not a mislead. But a clear picture on pricing makes it easier for people instead of contacting support for all the extra stuff. For now I cannot get it to work. I have signed up for the $30 Personal account, but anytime I create a simple video and try to save it I get an undefined "something went wrong" error. @steffen_tjerrild I have now done several tests and can tell you precisely what is causing that error. The commands for pauses like this one . If I eliminate all of them, the audio voice over sucks but I can process and get a video. P.S.: Do these test videos count toward my monthly quota if I delete them without downloading them?

@steffen_tjerrild @jmarovt Yes! It has. Looks like things are working now. Will be testing more and will report. P.S.: One thing not clear: how do you count the videos toward the quota. Is the count based on which ones I download or just on how many videos I create? I ask this because I have created many test videos and would probably need to do more before I feel confident in producing one to be published. How does this work?

You should offer the ability to define the way the actor ends the sentence...(smiling, questioning, intonation up/down) - this would add a huge realism to the end result as it can sometimes feel a bit flat otherwise

@robingood Thank you. Yeah that was a problem, that's why I ended up speeding the whole video. I made 2 videos (46 and 55 secs long) and edited on camtasia, I guess I need 2 more videos to explain the features without sacrificing time.

This is super impressive! The audio doesn't sound robotic at all, and having the ability to translate the same generated video in multiple languages ca really help me expand our ads to new markets and get a foot in the door before we can launch there. I found out about the company almost a year ago when they had a campaign with David Beckham, and it's impressive how fast they were able to package everything in a fully functional product... Congrats to the whole team! ps: are you working on different voice packages yet? Or is audio not your main focus right now?

Synthesia is pretty gamechanging! We used an earlier beta version to turn one of our team into a programmable actor, then used it to a make a series of videos. Been waiting for Create so that this is all much easier - all you need is a script!
