This product is specifically for the teams that love (or would love) to use Linear but also need their issues to be public and synced with GitHub.

Pretty much every Open Source project/company that cares about Linear needs this.

Hey Product Hunt πŸ‘‹ For the longest time we've been huge fans of Linear.app, however as an open-source company we didn't want to hide all of our tickets in a private task manager. As of today, Linear has no way to make issues public, nor do they have a good end-to-end sync with Github. Until now: We've open-sourced our end-to-end sync tool to keep your core team in linear in sync with your open-source community on GitHub. πŸ”„ Issues πŸ”„ Labels πŸ”„ Comments πŸ”„ Close/Open πŸ”œ Assignee πŸ”œ Milestones All of the code is open source, this is still a very early release, so use at your own risk. We highly recommend spinning up your own instance for extra security. If you like this Open Source Drop, check out cal.com and neat.run ❀️

Great idea, thanks for open-sourcing this! Do I understand correctly it syncs both ways? So I can create _Public_ issues in Linear, while users create them in GitHub and they all end up in the same pool? How does it keep track of the link between them?
