AMA: From Pro Athlete to Tech Founder – Built a PM Tool with AI Assistants & Real-Time Chat! 🚀

Hi Everyone! 👋 I’m Jerry, a software engineer and entrepreneur who built Swatle, an AI-assisted project management tool that helps teams complete tasks, not just manage them. 🎯 💡 Why Swatle? I saw a gap in traditional tools like Basecamp, ClickUp, and Asana. They help you organize tasks, but they don’t help you get things done. So, I built Swatle combining real-time messaging like Slack and AI-powered assistance to make work execution smoother. 🛠 Bootstrapped & Launched Built with a small team (just 5 members 💪) Launched on Product Hunt & got 100+ sign-ups Targeting SMBs & startups looking for AI-driven productivity 🔥 Ask Me Anything! Whether it’s about building a B2B SaaS from scratch, How to find the right problem to bring up the solution, launching on Product Hunt, or lessons from bootstrapping, the mistakes I made, I’d love to share my experience. @Swatle looks really cool. How are you growing it? What's your sales strategy and what kind of customers are you looking for?

@swatle @steveb I'm glad you asked! Launching on Product Hunt gives us a strong initial boost, helping us gain more than 100 users right from the start, including some paying customers. Right now, we are offering a lifetime subscription, which I believe will help us build even more momentum and attract more users. Moving forward, our main focus will be on improving our visibility through SEO and consistently publishing high quality blog content. Swatle is particularly beneficial for companies that operate fully remotely and have team sizes ranging from 10 to 200 employees.

Awesome journey, Jerry! Love the focus on AI actually helping teams execute tasks, not just track them—most PM tools stop at organization. Curious, what’s been your biggest challenge in getting teams to switch from well-established tools like Asana or ClickUp?

By the way, we’re launching soon too! Would love your thoughts—just visit my page and click ‘Try Helix for FREE’!
