Superhuman Inbox AI looks promising...

Curious to know if this will let me "set and forget" my inbox... I may have too many trust issues!

New features:

Automatically organize your inbox 🧹

  • Auto Labels. Superhuman will now automatically classify every email into categories like marketing, cold pitches, and social network updates. We'll move these emails from Important to Other, so you can focus on what matters most.

  • Auto Archive. Superhuman can now also automatically archive marketing, cold pitches, and social network updates. Turn on Auto Archive, and eliminate clutter for good.

  • Custom Auto Labels. Our built-in Auto Labels are great, but what's even better is making your own. Just write a prompt, like “job applications” or “requests for me to review work”. You can now immediately see when people apply for a job, or ask you to review work.

  • Split Inbox & Auto Labels. You can then also split your inbox using your own Auto Labels. So even when your inbox is overflowing, you can jump to a specific topic — and then get through emails of the same type, at the same time.

Emails that write themselves ✍️

  • Auto Drafts. Superhuman will now automatically draft replies to emails that need you to follow up. We’ll soon draft replies to every email that needs a response, using your calendar, previous emails, website, wiki, or any other set of documents that you connect.

  • Voice & Tone. We all talk differently to different people, and Superhuman now knows the difference. We now adapt to your unique style for each person, using the tone, length, and structure from emails you’ve sent to those people before.

Work made effortless ✨

  • Auto Reminders. If your email needs a response, we'll automatically remind you to follow up. We'll even write the email for you, so all you need to do is hit send. You'll never drop the ball again.

  • Auto Follow Up. But what if you didn't even need to hit send? Soon, Superhuman will be able to automatically follow up for you. You won't even have to touch the ball.

  • Workflows. Superhuman will soon be able to execute complete workflows, end-to-end, so you don’t have to. Not only will this save a huge amount of time, you won't even need to be in your inbox. You could even be on vacation, while Superhuman is working for you!

I'm really excited about Auto-Drafts personally - if it can capture my voice (and they have all the training data!). Lots of my email that's the most time-sensitive are things like making intros...speed matters a lot.

Another thought: This is a pretty ambitious feature set. Each of these features is simple to understand but has to clear a high bar of reliability in order to be useful.

Sending fully written emails on my behalf? So the agents will be emailing each other...

I tried Superhuman last year and gave up on it in 15 minutes because it didn't do this. This is the only thing I want in email and nothing gets it right. I've tried Lindy, Shortwave, Intercom, and Gleap and they can only use a doc/knowledge base. None of them will actually draft emails using your own tone. Same for Google's workspace tools.

Does anyone have beta access to this who can tell us if it's any good?

@steveb have you looked at @Fyxer - I think they have cracked the product the best so far.

@phalgun_g I will try it, thanks!

Just joined the waitlist. I'll share my findings once I'm in.

I'm excited to see how this works especially for the auto-labelling feature. I'm in the same boat, very excited to see how it works but perhaps a bit anxious to trust it off the bat, in case I miss an important email. Looking forward to it proving me wrong though!

The speed and efficiency are next-level.

Launching soon!

Every time I hear Rahul from a podcast, I'm impressed with how he speaks. Now I've seen him on video the first time, I'm even more impressed.

The features are awesome, fit in a cohesive theme, and are a logical evolution of what they offer. I don't use Superhuman personally as I don't really have many emails, but if I do, they seem to be objectively the best offering so far; everyone else is just following as far as I see.

I’m personally curious about how you handle data privacy with this solution.

Something about fully automating my communication with partners or community members scares me.

The automatic and smart labeling features and prioritizing priority conversations is quite nice. I'm still getting used to Superhuman but it has made me a bit faster at responding to priority items.

Workflows - this is what I'm excited for once it's released. I have a couple of workflows where emails take up a good chunk of time and pull me out from browser to app. I'd love to be able to have some of my email process automated for those routine tasks.
