I use the snippets all the time, and I absolutely love them! They're really the main feature that got me to initially start using Superhuman. The one thing I'd love to see added though is the ability to quickly "fill in" all of my custom placeholders when using a snippet.
I'll often have the same custom placeholder used multiple times in a snippet, and I have to go in and manually replace each instance. It'd be super helpful to be able to see each custom placeholder I've used in a draft and just drop that info in to be programmatically populated everywhere it's used in the email.
Would love to know if I'm missing something here, but if not, I think adding this would really speed up sending out emails with lots of custom placeholders!
really awesome to see companies taking feedback from user seriously :) can't say for sure, but my guess is that google is going to have a lot longer of a lead time on a feature request like this...
cool example of the many ways small teams can outpace big corps and win users
Oh interesting - do you mean have AI infer what to replace the placeholder with, or have essentially variables that you can define?
I wonder if AI auto-response will supersede this as it gets better.
@rajiv_ayyangar I was thinking variables that I could define. Like a find-replace throughout the email.
AI auto-response is interesting though. Especially since Superhuman is pretty good about pulling in user data. If one of my placeholders is the person's company, it'd be great to have it just infer that based on the name of my custom placeholder and update automatically.
Superhuman
@jakecrump thank you for kind words and for the idea!
I love this. We had actually intended to build it this way when we first made custom placeholders, but this fell just below the line. This is a great reminder for us to get this reprioritized to work on soon β thank you!! ππ
