@bruno_jacob this is solving a glaring need in web3. Some of the hoops folks have to jump through to on-ramp in the current system are nonsense. I used to try and help friends and would say things like “Just buy on a central exchange, wait 7 days, send to a hot wallet, bridge to L2, convert to another coin, and then buy this nft” LOL. Good job team
@bruno_jacob @elistonberg definitely. And while there are fiat onramps that let people load up a wallet with ETH, those suffer from higher credit card rejection rates. I had to try 3 different credit cards before the third one worked.
And recently, some of the more successful NFT projects (such as Reddit's launch) have been so transparent that collectors don't even know they're NFTs. Another point for mainstream adoption is buyers don't need to understand the underlying tech, which means they should be able to buy with whatever works for them: crypto or fiat.
Great launch! Looking forward to seeing how supercool helps onboard non-crypto folks to NFTs as dealing with all the setup was such a blocker for them. 💪
love to see products making the interface with web3 easier! bonus: this is empowering for creators. giving artists and entrepreneurs tools to sell their work, and form relationships with customers is powerful. congrats on your launch!
@luke_button There are a few NFT checkout providers out there... But none of them offer auction support. Their product is also entirely focused on people that are new to crypto. Not us. We want to offer the best NFT checkout for all audiences, including the crypto-native. Features that we're launching soon that are particularly appealing to the crypto-native crowd include mint stats, mint social graph, and mint velocity all embedded directly in the checkout flow.
Crossmint is indeed focused on non crypto-native users, but we support crypto-native too. You can allow users to mint straight to their self custodied wallets for example. Auction support is on its way too.
Awesome stuff team! Excited for Checkout Links. Would love to see some integration/examples with https://www.bildr.com/ at some point. A handful of their showcased sites could benefit from checkout.

Interesting - this could be a good solution for DTC brands looking to dabble in crypto for loyalty rewards, but most of their audience isn't equipped with a wallet yet.
@alanna_fusaro 100%. Loyalty programs backed by tokens are great, and a regular user shouldn't have to install extra software just to make a purchase.
