As a founder, having to constantly jump between tools to get my work done is often a frustrating pain point. Go through one flow to generate static landing sites and download them locally. Then go to your email solution, where I need to plug my site or make a template to send an email. The bottlenecks add up! There are many great tools for email marketing, such as those provided by Hubspot and Mailchimp. Unfortunately, these massive tools often don't give me the level of control I would like as a founder and software engineer. More often than not, I want quick access to my site sources and all configuration around my emailing setup. This is how Emailit was born. It fulfills a deep longing to have a simple tool for unifying static page creation and emailing workflows under one roof. Emailit is easy to use, expressive, and if enough people are interested I will add support for additional points of configuration, such as more database types, more control over over local / networked file systems, layout options in the UI, and more!
